Congrats to Max Green on signing with the @Mets ✍️
The lefty has thrown 199.1 innings in the Atlantic League since 2024 and was named a co-starter of the year.
After a 5.2-inning stop in Mexico with the Charros de Jalisco this season, he's headed back to affiliate ball with the Mets. 🚀

Tread's Comeback Player of the Year is Will Saxton! 🏆
Saxton takes home the crown with 244 first-place votes in the first annual Tread Awards. 🗳️
Saxton underwent surgery in January 2023 for a rare congenital shoulder condition (osteochondral defect of the glenoid).
Nearly three years post-operation, tons of unknown, training/rehab every day, and following a complete return-to-throw progression by his coach, Austin Roark, Saxton is fully healthy, touching 94.5 mph, and preparing for Pro Day.

The Chicago Cubs are hiring Tyler Zombro as a special assistant, sources tell ESPN. Zombro, 30, has become one of baseball’s preeminent pitching trainers at Tread Athletics, and he’ll work in all areas of Chicago’s organization to help improve the performance of the Cubs’ arms.
This is a post I’ve dreaded…. but it’s time. The last 3+ years have been difficult within my playing career, as I have fought consistent nerve issues since my head injury in ‘21. I find more joy in helping others vs. helping myself, and it’s time to do that full-time now.
Been keeping up with his transformation all the way from when I first started working at Tread 3 years ago. Brian is an absolute dude. If there’s one thing to take out of this, it’s not just one thing that solved his issues, but a holistic approach to EVERYTHING he was doing.
Brian Curley Transformation:
What does 4 years of development look like going from 86-88 to 93-96 T98 and a 16th round draft pick in this years MLB Draft. All at 5’10.
Here’s a look at his story🧵

‘25 | RHP | Cade Miller (Heritage HS)
- 6’3 projectable frame w/ 3 pitch mix.
• FB: 86-89 w/ heavy low spin w/ sinker shape that induced GB’s and weak contact.
• SL: 77-79 Commanded and tunneled well off the FB. Swing and miss projection
• CH: a plus pitch that sat 81-84 w/ late fade and good depth.
Upside is evident.

Being able to self reflect on how far I have come has really helped me make more progress.
I’m not trying to jump three steps ahead, rather I am looking to attack the step that’s right in front of my face with everything that I got. 📈
It can be very easy to get caught up in the day-to-day work to where you lose perspective of where you once were. This is a throw from 2019 compared to today.
Not only are these two different throws, these are two very different individuals on how they handled themselves.
This leads me to where I am today. I have a much healthier mindset with my training. I take each day for what it is. Good, bad, etc., it doesn’t matter to me.
What ultimately matters to me is what led up to the session with my intention, and how I processed it after it was over
