I was wondering if characters and monsters could use both their climbing speed plus half their remaining running speed to climb, or if characters with a climbing speed cannot use the rule of half their normal speed to climb.

Hello @JeremyECrawford, could you help me with some 5e rulings?

If a character has a climbing speed of 20ft and a normal speed of 30, could it climb 20ft and then use their remaining 10ft to climb 5 more feet, given they haven't walked that turn? Thank you for all your hard work
