Thank you to the 50 U.S. senators from both parties who passed @SenTimKaine’s resolution to end American tariffs on Canada. I’m thrilled to see senators work across party lines in support of a stronger economy on both sides of the border.
This is a political fight using economic tools. The US administration understands that. Premier Ford understands that. Too many Canadian commentators do not.
Today, I announced that we’re banning municipal speed cameras in Ontario to stop the cash grab from drivers and taxpayers.
Instead, we’re investing in new traffic-calming measures like signs and roundabouts that will stop people from speeding in the first place.
