Almost a decade ago, @OmarAbdullah was among the few people I followed on my first twitter account. He used to retweet most of @Nidhi Razdan’s tweet. I don’t know if their relationship was public at that time or not but at least I was unaware about it. I remember often wondering “what’s so special about her?”, every time he flooded my timeline with her tweets.
@KshSpirit Cousin Mama. Mother’s cousins are hardly considered close relative during weddings. Even father’s cousins might not be considered close, depending on other factors.
I had a similar experience in Lucknow with an added twist. Five patients along with 1-2 attendants each, were allowed inside the doctor’s chamber. We were made to sit in a row such that the first patient was closest to the doctor, and the last patient was farthest. With each consultation, we had to move one space towards the doctor. Apart from the privacy concern, it was borderline humiliating. Never experience anything like this before.
@babumoshoy My Maasi has a similar home along with a big garden. It was such a delight visiting here, in the childhood. Constant fresh breeze of air along with the smell of fruits/flowers of the garden. During monsoon, the level of water rose so much that it touched the balcony facing Ganga.
@BrahminSpeaks01 I used to prepare for competitive exams and so often looked at list of successful candidates. I was often surprised by the number of people with Meena surname. At first, I thought it was coincidence, but after seeing numerous lists, I realised they are cornering all the ST seats.
@iAsura_ Head of the ruling party of a country can be considered on the same level as a cabinet minister. It doesn’t matter whether the country is small compared to India.
Don’t know much about the internal politics of Nepal but that man must be within five most powerful people in Nepal.
@itismohit0001@mxtaverse The risk faced by an entrepreneur is also constant. Please explain how that risk is insignificant compared to risk faced by the farmer. Also, the OP is talking about farmers with income above 12 lakh per annum. Please stick to direct taxes, instead of deviating to indirect taxes.
@theupindex Does anyone know the reason behind use of RM for defence minister, by Army and government ? It seems, no other minister is referred using acronym of Hindi name. I have never seen foreign minister being referred to as VM and so on.
@Sonakshi_V@PranavaBhardwaj Appreciate the good work done by them in Lucknow, which is amongst my favourite cities. But most probably it came at the cost of lower funding for rest of the state. Yogi’s approach of not concentrating on one city is fiscally more prudent.
@Ronak_Unadkat UP never give massive dominance to BJP for 15-20 years. The current BJP government in UP is nine years old. In the 90s and early 2000s, BJP ruled interrupted and incomplete terms. From 2002 to 2014, BJP was in a continuous decline in UP.
