@ArtfulDodjar@Rainmaker1973 The term the ‘speed of light’ really means ‘speed of light in a vacuum’. Light actually has different speeds depending on what medium it is passing though, same way sound has different speeds depending on what the sound is going through.
@martianwyrdlord It’s def AI. The AI has interpreted the black sleeve the cuff is being placed on top of as a metal band on the victims wrist, which it clearly isn’t.
@remythomz@Honorable_Emmy It’s a bit silly- grease (or chocolate) on the tracks would make the train slide forward given its massive momentum, it would hardly slow down at all- it would continue for miles.
@Cap1508@therrrrrurr@Breaking57 Is the threat of rape funny?
It wasn’t like he was even creative or clever with the comment, it was pretty much just ‘shut up or I’ll rape you’
Is that comedy to you?
@Rhe3es No, because traditionally, the bigger, more powerful entity names things around it to indicate where the named thing leads to, away from itself.
E.g. a mansion might have a ‘north gate’, called so because it *leads* north.
@Trussman333@BritainElects Won’t the Labour voters who like Starmer stay at home? Even if that’s only 10% of them, that could swing it in Reform’s favour
@sinead_ryan@Tesco Here’s another brain scratcher. You can buy the refill pack of coffee, or for a cheaper price per g, buy the coffee that comes with a nice free glass jar.
Apparently it’s more expensive to produce, ship, and display a plastic pouch of coffee than a large glass jar of the stuff.
@DylanMcD8 It might be to discourage users from using some 3rd party tool that can inject the phone numbers of an entire country into the block list- or something silly like that
@KoopaSSB@AnJa_UwU@sbodrojan It does break the rule.
Unless the character position changes relative to each other, the character should always appear on screen looking in the same direction if looking at the other character. This rule is broken 🤷♂️
@opinionatedobs7@kitten_beloved After 5 years that gives you odds of 1 in 2735 that you would land within 5 meters of a non-sandy beach coast with strong waves.
That’s pretty good odds for $150m
@opinionatedobs7@kitten_beloved Rough estimate, 1/200,000th of the surface area of the ocean is within 5 meters of land.
1/3 of all coastline is sandy beach.
There would also have to be strong waves at that exact time, so let’s half those odds again. You have 1 in 5M chance of being in danger each time.
@AnJa_UwU@KoopaSSB@sbodrojan The 180 rule is to maintain the ‘left to right’ relationship between characters. E.g. the monster should always be to the human’s right throughout the scene. This scene violates that rule..
