@robb_j_m I was that happy with the FTTN NBN I had I went with Starlink when it was available in my area in November 2021.
I know I can now get FTTP , but I put up with an ordinary service for for a long time and can’t be bothered changing.
@NeilBoltonRSPL@harald_murphy@TeslaAUNZ@Tesla 😳 , I had a rear tyre on a VT Commodore let me down on the way to a funeral that looked better than that (yes I have gone from a bogan car to a Tesla)
My first experience behind the wheel of a car (was sitting on my father’s lap as I wasn’t old enough to reach the pedals) was brief , but resulted in a HR shaped hole in the front of the house. Not through the house, just the front breaking the asbestos (the real cancer causing stuff) not sure how I survived childhood, but here I is.
I don’t have FSD on my HW3 Model 3 , but one of the reasons I bought it as a used car was that it came with enhanced autopilot and at the time it would have been $5000 to make the leap to FSD.
If supervised FSD becomes available to me I will probably use it.
But I wasn’t in a financial position to trade up to a HW4 car (especially with the trade in value I was given)
I bought my first EV in 2021 , a Harley Livewire. I have DC fast charged it once 11 minutes in total and have racked up 32,000km.
The rest of the time it’s been a regular 10a home outlet.
I bought a used Model 3 in April 2024 and have DC fast charged it twice when I did a 550 km road trip. The rest of the time it’s been a 15a single phase home outlet at home.
@JonBbC_TechGeek If FSD worked on HW3 cars I would probably rent it for my 2019 SR+ , as it is I have enhanced autopilot and I use it occasionally (where I am confined it will work as intended)
I also used EAP a fair bit on a road trip (546km total) I did over Christmas.
@13arm13arm Don’t think I have ever had a service for the Livewire that was that low , last one (32k) was $546.57.
It was a service that the transmission (all 350ml of it) fluid is changed.
