@BishopJaxi@alpinicoid Catholics pray to her, dedicate things to her, give her glory for things, etc. Given that, what's the line a Catholic would have to cross to actually be giving worship to Mary?
@farmingandJesus It really is the only logical conclusion if you're going to argue that abortion is murder, which it would be if you believe that it is the taking of an innocent life. It either is murder or it isn't. And if it is it deserves prosecution.
@tyromper My yard is full of wild flowers and I love it. Looks much better than a perfectly manicured green. Plus my kids love blowing on the Dandelion puffs.
Had a great men's Bible study this morning going through The Resolution for Men. I'd rather be sleeping at 6:30 on a Saturday morning, but it's worth it to be surrounded by godly men walking the same path as you with the same desires as you. If you don't have that, I highly encourage you to get plugged in. Start the group yourself if you have to ( I started mine).
A similar thing happened to me. I was with the wrong person. When that ended I was extremely depressed because it felt like I had to start my life over and that I might never get what I wanted now. My Christian Brothers carried the faith for me and were constantly encouraging and praying for me. It took a few years but once on the other side with the wife I always wanted and two beautiful kids, Im so grateful to God because He had something better planned for me than the situation I was in.
I guess it could be. I'm not familiar with any large denomination that forbids it. So, it didn't stick out to me. I was addressing the obvious category error being made. There may be some gray area, but Protestants aren't wielding Sola Scriptura to counter issues like whether churches should have pews or not.
