@Layqan@MrEndiiiy When you have the ball for most of the time & your opponents are typically camped in their own half/box, u don’t need a striker to drag defenders cos there’ll be no space &/or time for that. You need a striker that kind find/create pockets of space. That’s where Havertz comes in.
@ibn_wittig Only if you’re buying foodstuff in a large scale (eg, rice in bags, oil in >20litres, etc) and/or compromising on quality. Else, from an economics standpoint, you can’t cook cheaper than the restaurant that’s cooking for crowds & enjoying economics of scale.
A very important caveat to add: “if you have time on your hands”. Cooking and everything associated with it takes time. It’s more preferable and healthier, but definitely more expensive than eating out if you factor in time cost.
@xTehFR I think in this era, there are too many games to play, so coaches prefer systems that help players conserve energy, which could mean more keys in a possession-based side like Arsenal (to reduce running distance) & a more passive press & lower block for transitional teams.
@The_Ebube_ I am not an authority on this, but I don’t agree with you on the sub-plot becoming the main focus. Rabiu - the almajiri was the focus of the film for the most part. I just think the script is tailored to having a sequel. It’s a very well written & interpreted film, if you ask me.
I honestly hate seeing people who have zero knowledge of football drop hot takes like this. I don’t even need to be a football expert to see the nonsense that is in this. Why are you all like this? Is it all for Twitter money that you won’t even get? 🤦🏽♂️
I really hope Mikel Arteta is paying close attention to the Arsenal players in the international break so far
What I've learnt:
Tzolis should be given a completely free role, Viktor Gyokeres should be starting every game, Myles Lewis Skelly should always be in midfield in important games, Martin Ødegaard should also have a free role, Rice and Lewis Skelly can hold it down, Bukayo Saka needs to be benched if he can't perform, Madueke and Max Dowman should be given more game time. Bruno Guimarães should only be coming off the bench for now, he hasn't done enough to be a starter, so far our weakest position is still the right wing and that's what should be Arsenal's priority in the January window, a backup left winger is also needed m, a striker should be our last consideration, sign wingers first
I will never understand the Saka slander by a section of the fanbase.
A player who battled severe injuries last season and has barely got time to fully recover, yet is our joint highest goal scorer this season.
Haven’t we learnt any lessons from Odegaard’s situation last season vs this one?
If anything, we should rally around our star boy in this difficult time. We really don’t know how much physical pain these players have to suffer to rep our badge.
Lewis Skelly: the unsung hero in our historic title win last season. Came in when spirits were down and the team needed an injection of fresh energy, and boy did he provide all that and more!
Happy birthday, Myles. Keep growing into the generational player we all see you can become.🥂❤️
QUARTER FINAL SPOT BOOKED.
FT: England 0-3 Nigeria. Against all odds, Nigeria's Falconets have advanced to the U20 Women's World Cup by comprehensively beaten England. Tosin Rafiu, Janet Akekoromowei and Mary Mamadu were the goal scorers.

What separates elite managers from average ones is the ability to create systems that work for different game states. Carrick’s United is only built to feed on transitions. Give them the ball, drop into a mid/low block and they become clueless. You’re playing against a City side with a man advantage and can’t create chances to score. An XG of 0.95 at home is poor, let alone playing against 10 men for the most part. Not good enough.
