Robbie Fowler stated that while Declan Rice has excelled and elevated his game at Arsenal, the midfielder must improve further to be considered a Ballon d'Or candidate 👀:
“It is what it is in terms of his performances. He's been great for Arsenal and he's obviously gone up a notch.
But I think he needs to go up another notch, if I'm being genuine in terms of his performances.
It does sound like I'm having a little bit of a go, but I'm not.
I think Declan Rice is a fantastic player, but I don't think he's on the realms of the Ballon d'Or list just yet.”
Robbie Fowler said that Declan Rice has not yet reached the level of Steven Gerrard, despite becoming a more complete player since joining Arsenal 😳:
“I like Declan Rice...If I'm being honest, I don't think he's Steven's level. That's not me being all Liverpool.
I think Declan Rice, since he's gone to Arsenal, he has become a more complete player.
But I don't think he's the level that Steven Gerrard is just yet.”

Arsenal are closely monitoring Iliman Ndiaye after being updated on his contract situation at Everton 😳
The club is not actively pursuing the forward right now but remains aware that a prolonged contract impasse could create an opening for a transfer 👀✅

Arsenal are considering a summer move for 20-year-old Ajax winger Mika Godts to add dribbling ability to their attack 😳👀
The Belgian is part of a multi-player shortlist that also includes Morgan Rogers, Bradley Barcola, and Eli Junior Kroupi.

Arsenal explored the possibility of recruiting Julian Alvarez during the previous summer window, though Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal hierarchy ultimately chose to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP in a £63.5 million deal 😳👀

Stat breakdown of Nathaniel Brown (left) vs Riccardo Calafiori.
- Nathaniel Brown has better G/A numbers, big chances created, and passes leading to shot per 90 compared to Calafiori.
- Calafiori almost matches Brown’s per 90 G/A and crossing numbers, but has better xG and duelling numbers while playing only 50% of minutes.
Calafiori is obviously a mercurial talent and on a different level to Brown, but Brown is not a bad rotation option to have at left-back
Bayern are falling behind in the race for Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown due to the €65 million asking price 😳
This hesitation has allowed Arsenal to emerge as serious contenders as they possess the financial resources to meet Frankfurt's valuation ✅

I did research on French outfield players (that are part of the World Cup squad) with the most minutes.
Guess who had the most? William Saliba.
The last French players with the most mins heading into a WC were: Griezmann, Kante, L. Hernandez, and UMTITI.
If you recall, Umtiti workload that season was massive for a centerback.
Umtiti played 3,539 minutes compared to Saliba’s 4,048 👀
The doctors advised Umtiti to rest his knee during the World Cup but he refused and it ultimately caused severe cartilage degradation.
Umtiti was never the same defender after that World Cup campaign.
Very much like Umtiti, Lucas Hernandez and Kante suffered severe physical setbacks after that World Cup campaign.
After the World Cup, Hernandez suffered a series of knee injuries and eventually tore his ACL before the season ended.
I remember in the subsequent season Kante suffered a succession of hamstring, groin, and ankle injuries and missed 27 games for Chelsea.
There’s an obvious trend, so I’m just hoping the worst doesn’t await Saliba. 4,048 minutes is a lot for a defender heading into a World Cup campaign.
Didier Deschamps confirmed on Wednesday that Arsenal defender William Saliba avoided a long-term injury and was physically ready to play against Ivory Coast, but decided to rest him as part of standard squad rotation ✅:
"William is doing well, he is going to be managed. If he had had to play tomorrow, he would have played. He was ready to play.
But he will not play. It is management, just like for others."

Juventus are monitoring Gabriel Jesus ahead of a potential summer exit from Arsenal, with the Italian club currently evaluating whether to launch an official bid 😳✅

An impressive performance against Finland has put Nathaniel Brown in contention to start on the left side after Nagelsmann praised his high potential, speed, 1v1 ability, and comfort in the half-spaces 👀✅:
"He has a lot of potential, is a very good one-on-one player, has a lot of pace, does it very cleverly and feels comfortable in the half-space."

Real Madrid have requested information regarding Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori over the last few days 😳👀
While formal negotiations with Arsenal have not commenced, the Spanish club maintains a genuine interest in the defender.

Algeria travels to Rotterdam tomorrow heading straight into a buzzing De Kuip fortress.
The Netherlands has turned their home ground into an absolute dead end for visitors, remaining completely unbeaten in their last ten fixtures.
Ronald Koeman’s tactical setup has generated incredible momentum, and his squad is fully prepared to unleash relentless attacking width from the opening whistle to overwhelm the opponent.
You are completely delusional if you think an Algerian side that has not appeared on the global stage since 2014 can handle this level of top-tier European intensity.
This warm-up is a total mismatch.
Arsenal are tracking Eintracht Frankfurt’s versatile 22-year-old left-sided German international Nathaniel Brown 👀✅
Both clubs are among the teams interested in signing Real Madrid’s 19-year-old defender Victor Valdepenas.

Porto have triggered their option to permanently sign Jakub Kiwior for €17 million plus up to €5 million in add-ons.
Due to a structure matching the Hincapié deal, the accounting for the fee will also be processed this summer 👏✅
(@gunnerblog)
According to @gunnerblog, the Piero Hincapie deal was deliberately structured as an initial loan to ensure the transfer fee is accounted for in summer 2026 rather than 2025, allowing Arsenal to comply with financial regulations 😳✅

Arsenal initially considered selling Myles Lewis-Skelly due to his homegrown status, but his excellent late-season form in central midfield is prompting a complete re-evaluation of the 19-year-old's transfer availability this summer 👏✅

Former French forward Christophe Dugarry called Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal players clowns for promising to win the Champions League before the final took place 😳:
"They’re a bunch of clowns. They arrived with an inflated ego, with Arteta saying, 'We’re going to beat them'… I’m so glad Arsenal got the short end of the stick"
Wales NT head coach Craig Bellamy predicted that former Arsenal player Aaron Ramsey has the talent to eventually manage the Welsh national team 😳✅:
"I just believe he’s going to be that talented and I believe he’s going to be a big asset to whoever he’s with and I’d like to see that with Wales one day.
"I don’t know when, could be two years, four years, 40 years, but I believe we might see that one day."
