As an Arsenal fan here is what I would do if I was in charge of what we do next in the transfer window

Buy a back up for Tzolis :
You can play Eze as left that’s fine but you do have to rotate these players for champions , prem , FA cup , etc so if you’re not going to sing a prolific LW this transfer window just get a rotational player for tzolis

Keep Gyokeres
Let Gyokeres stay he doesn’t need to leave anywhere if anything right now would be the best time to keep him having a team that is fully healthy and can benefit from him being a hunter rather than a false 9 like Havertz .

Sell Gabi :
I love gabi but his time as a left wing is done he isn’t doing it anymore and his level as a player has gone down I want him to be back in form but he just isn’t the same player anymore so selling him would be the best option

Start planning for the next window:
I know it isn’t exactly what people want to hear but Arsenal spent to much time on other stuff and we are running out of time if we don’t sign someone by the end of the week we won’t sign someone new only right thing is to start planning right now

Sign Edrick next transfer window
Edrick is gonna be going into another season where most likely he will not be getting much playing time he is definitely a much more cheaper option than an Alvarez or osinhen would be and arteta can mold him into the type of striker he wants .

Break the bank for a Top 5 LW
This window arsenal was ready to break the bank for Vini , I need that same energy next transfers window I need them to go after a kvaratskhelia or Olise . Hell it’s an impossible long shot but if Madrid fans start again with their bs of attacking mbappe and wanting him out.. jump and submit an offer for him ! Break the bank for someone .

I am not mentioning Julian Alvarez because he isn’t a necessity he doesn’t want us and he is gonna cry the first sign that things get hard . I don’t want him at my club let’s move on and focus on the real stuff that needs to be addressed.

Havertz as much as I like him and as much as I want him to be good can’t touch a candle to Gyokeres and I know he will be injured sooner or later . Tzolis needs to be rotated if you constantly rotate him he will be fine and Saka seems better just don’t play him every game

I think in any planet where Gyokeres is your 3rd choice it’s laughably stupid your 3rd choice is the guy while he was in sporting who out scored the likes of mbappe , Haaland and Kane and won an award for it . The guy who in his first season for your club out scored your first choice by 18+ goals . Not only that but your first choices best season scored a total of 14 goals that was Gyokeres total just for the prem !

I said Gyökeres is Arteta’s 3rd choice when Havertz, Merino and Gyökeres are all fit, and people thought I was joking. Against Coventry, Arteta brought on Merino and left Gyökeres as an unused sub.

Arteta clearly prefers a false-nine profile ,a striker who can drop deep, pick up the ball, link play and get involved in the build-up. That’s why Havertz fits his system so well.

The fact that Arteta doesn’t seem interested in using Gyökeres only makes the whole Julián Álvarez obsession make more sense. Gyökeres simply isn’t the type of striker Arteta wants.

I don’t want Gyökeres to ever leave Arsenal, and I’m completely against this whole swap idea. Gyökeres chose Arsenal from the beginning. Álvarez has never chosen us. If anything, Arsenal looks like an escape route for him now.

And I pity some Arsenal fans who genuinely think Arteta will sign Osimhen. He’s a great player, but he’s the same type of striker as Gyökeres. He’s simply not the profile Arteta wants.
