@taarafilms WE FUCKING WON WE FUCKING WON I CANT BELIEVE IT
I WAS CONVINCED THAT THE BOX OFFICE WOULD SPEAK FOR ITSELF BUT FINALLY THEY ARE LISTENING TO SENSE
little did one day ago me know that WE’D ACTUALLY BE GETTING A THUNDERBOLTS SEQUEL!!!!
seriously if this turns out to be false or with like a totally different cast someone’s getting hurt
@Digitalwizard69 I got the idea that Kara and Ruthye’s relationship was much more developed in the comic
Considering all the praise for the comic i don’t blame people for being disappointed it was more of a loose adaptation. I liked the few times we saw Kara from Ruthye’s perspective.
Whilst I understand the main critiques of it - I hear it’s not the most faithful adaptation of Woman of Tomorrow, I generally enjoyed the movie and thought it was pretty good! Kara is a compelling and fun character, I like her backstory as well. She’s different from Clark whilst
@Digitalwizard69 I’ve only heard good things about the comic, I tried to buy it after watching the film but couldn’t find a physical copy anywhere! You’d think they’d put some on the shelves for ppl who are interested after watching the movie. Disappointing that the director didn’t even read it
“we don’t hate female characters we just hate badly written female characters”
yall were hating on this movie and Milly Alcock before it even came out.
lacks these days. Super excited for Man of Tomorrow and see her relationship with Clark and the rest of whoever comes into the DCU!
I got a lot more to say but I’d just be rambling at that point

@DistortedSoul27@x1shaun aside from the fact that that’s literally her character, it’s compelling to me because it makes her different from Clark. If we just got the whole same movie of her saving people on earth like in Superman, people would complain that she’s a rip off
@MarvoloESH she was hated on for being a woman. she didn’t even say anything hateful back, but the male ego is incredibly fragile it seems. scroll down and you’ll see the amount of triggered men in the replies simply by me saying an objective truth
@battleupsaber i agree, but you also can’t say that grifters like this don’t influence many people
then again, would the average critical drinker viewer even watch this movie?
no, you can tell they don’t because he straight up lies to them about the movie and they all eat it up
