St Edmund's Church and the Montagu Monuments by Louise Allen.
St Edmund's Church in the beautiful village of Warkton, Northamptonshire is an unassuming place – but it holds some of the most exquisite sculptures in all of Britain. Commissioned by the local Montagu family.

Middleton Park (Oxfordshire) was remodelled in the early nineteenth century and contained a Chinese room with bamboo furniture and Chinese wallpaper. The house was demolished in 1935.

Absolutely lovely email last night from someone about my @ShireBooks ‘Royal Coronations’ book. When someone takes the trouble to write & compliment a writer on their work, it’s both gratifying and heart-warming.
