Roblox is making it way harder to sell a 2D outfit tomorrow.
A year ago you could publish one for 10 Robux.
Now to actually sell an outfit you need:
>verified age
>parental permission if you're a minor
>a paid Plus or Premium subscription
>200 Robux to upload
>600 Robux to publish
So the price of entry went from 10 to 800 Robux
The cheapest way to make your first Roblox item is about to become a paywall.
You will then receive only 30% OF THE VALUE.
You need to sell about 534 shirts (5 Robux each) to break even on the new 800 Robux entry cost.
Roblox said they wouldn't remove 2D clothing, but they raised the upload fee so much that almost no one uploads it anymore.
This is messed up...
Hot take, but companies should actually be held responsible when they poison people with contaminated food.
If they've had multiple incidents, clearly they're playing it fast and loose with sanitation measures.
Redo-ing the tweet:
If YOU let your kid roam around a mall and they find their way into Spencers, this is not MINE nor THE MALL'S FAULT
We should not AGE GATE THE ENTIRE MALL BECAUSE YOU CAN'T KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR KID
Yes this is a metaphor for the current state of the internet
facebook misinformation is radicalising our parents and grandparents into being so blinded by hatred and bigotry that to them everything has to link to immigration no matter what
it’s worrying how obsessed they are with it
will i be flayed alive and thrown into a vat of salt if i said i lowkey miss this era of people just being cringe and free and joyous on the internet compared to now where everyone is a completely miserable fucking zombie trying too hard to look nonchalant
“When the last tree is cut, the last fish is caught, and the last river is polluted; when to breathe the air is sickening, you will realize, too late, that wealth is not in bank accounts and that you can’t eat money.”
The bitches that complain about artist alleys having too much hoyoverse stuff need to see this and maybe they will finally fucking understand that this is what could happen to you and your art when you make fanmerch of other franchises. I feel so sorry for the affected artists...
I SAID IT YEARS AGO AND I GOT MOCKED FOR IT SO I'LL SAY IT AGAIN
AI SHITPOSTS ARE PART OF THE REASON AI GOT NORMALIZED
YALL WERE TOO FUCKING BLIND TO SEE IT HAPPENING IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES
Its rlly funny when someone posts stuff like this as proof they arent using AI. it is now very obvious they dont know enough about drawing, so they cannot recognize why everyone else is tipped off by this workflow video and consider it extremely suspicious
Distributing covers is legal as long as you pay the appropriate license, and reproduce the back track which 99% of cover artists already do and have done for years and years. The confusion here is that rusino is uncomfortable with it, not that its illegal.
