The Generative Art Foundation @genartfound achieves a new milestone in their support for creative coding as an artistic practice. ๐๐
Visit their new Impact page for details.
As a small foundation with limited operational resources, we tend to focus on doing charitable work rather than speaking about it. But some things deserve a moment. Today we're proud to unveil our Impact page documenting more than $420,000 in grants to support generative art ๐งต

Monica Rizzolli (@MonicaRizzolli) creates generative systems that study nature as a process of growth, variation, and seasonal change. Her work sits at the intersection of drawing, landscape, botanical observation, and code.
In Fragments of an Infinite Field, Rizzolli built a system that generates an imagined plant species across a changing foliage field. Season becomes a parameter: in summer, rain shapes the composition; in winter, snow appears; in autumn, petals fall; and in spring, pollen moves through the field. Each output is a fragment of a larger system in which code models nature as cyclical and variable.
Her work was part of our exhibition Infinite Images: The Art of Algorithms.
Logoria: System Varieties
Each output reveals a distinct configuration of forms, colors, and relations while remaining faithful to the generative logic that defines Logoria.
Three worlds, one underlying system.

"When there's a disruption, we will see where things lie. At the end of the day, it depends on why we do what we do. When we do things from a place of authenticity, the result is more likely to fall in a positive place... The blockchain documents digital art in a way that we could not document in the past. And that is the disruption. All we're talking about here is a new form of documentation. And I think that's authentic."
