The fact that you’re saying “he doesn’t owe the community anything” is strange. That’s his choice, but he can still be criticized.

This whole thread started because someone wanted to give David the moral high ground. Then other people pointed out that David is not the best role model for this.

I specifically put in quotes that he *claimed* he was a “closet heterosexual”.

Even if it’s not true, that kind of statement has ramifications, which I explained to @bowiefairy

For some reason, people always need to find this “good guy” who always knew.
