Look, nobody is denying Neymar has more total career goals. But football didn’t stop in 2017. If we are talking about who is the more complete, efficient, and clutch modern football player, Dembélé takes it.

Stop letting nostalgia blind you.

Neymar spent years trying to lead PSG to a Champions League title and failed multiple times. Even failed witha team of Messi and Mbappe.

Dembélé actually did it in 2025, dropping 48 goal contributions, winning a historic continental treble, and taking home the Ballon d'Or. Neymar never touched that award his entire career.
Back to back UCL titles with players like Doue, Barcola, Kvara.

Plus, Neymar is predictable because he is heavily right-footed. You literally cannot map out Dembélé because he uses both feet perfectly. His career stats are a bizarre 50/50 split between his left and right foot for both goals and assists. You don't know which way he's going.
