@infodexx This is not true. A lot of Americans count their ancestry as 'American', and that's basically British settlers.
The single largest ancestry group is British.
@FulanoRando@PedroRobles63@statsglobe That table is from the study saying the average Colombian is 62% European. I clearly wrote 'the average Colombian'. If you want to cherry pick a region I can also pick southern Brazil which according to the page you looked at is 82% European on average.
@FulanoRando@sormany15@PedroRobles63@statsglobe In here you said almost all Colombians are 80% European, which is definitely not true, not a single DNA sudy suggests that

@PedroRobles63@statsglobe Ceará is whiter than Antioquia? That's a comical take. Yeah, Porto Alegre has more blonde/blue-eyed people than anywhere in Colombia, but I'd define "white" as anyone who is 80%+ European and that's almost all of Colombia, with the exception of the coast
@FulanoRando@sormany15@PedroRobles63@statsglobe Can you not read? Your screenshot says over 80% of Colombians are mixed with European, not that most Colombians are 80% European as you claimed. The vast majority of Brazilians are mixed with European too. You're comparing apples to oranges.

@FulanoRando@PedroRobles63@statsglobe 🤣🤣🤣 you really are beyond delusional, to think almost all Colombians are 80% European. There's no study that even hints at the average Colombian being 70% European. You can see for yourself here, multiple DNA studies https://t.co/8MahoaHgBf

@FulanoRando@statsglobe Utterly delusional. Even my English friend, who's married to a Colombian, told me 'when I'm in Colombia everyone can tell I'm foreign, but in Brazil they don't assume that if I keep my mouth shut'
@tusharUSC@statsglobe Not true. Most of them are mixed but you are exaggerating.
These are genetic studies on the population of Uruguay (self identified whites would be even higher than that)
@SteveStuWill White men are less promiscuous than browns.
And within white men, some men are naturally less promiscuous. The kind of man that makes better fathers.
