@thechrisfigaro@M3T1CULOSO@B4chlava You can dislike and criticize this aspects of the story as much as you want, it's valid criticism actually (LoK season 2 is just terrible), but it doesn't change the fact that this is canon, the comics and books are canon, no personal opinion/preferences can change that.
@thechrisfigaro@B4chlava All the new content are made in line with everything, each new media adds a bit more information, context and story to the universe, the LA, for example, have references to what past Avatars did in their books.
@thechrisfigaro@B4chlava Michael and Bryan are the creators of this universe, they are the one who decides what is canon, not nostalgic fans who just watch and like ATLA and thinks they own the rights to say what is relevant or not. Like I said, your personal opinion is just yours.
@thechrisfigaro@B4chlava You seems like that people who like just the og series and ignore the rest, but, regardless of your personal opnion and that the production team changed, the og creators of this universe still approves every new canon media, including books and comics.
@B4chlava In the LA they were in the spiritual world, maybe the past lives could manifest more freely there, without been stuck in Aang's body location.
@Morgan_Scape@KingpinThawne You brought up terms like "cool as fuck" and "aura," so I’m evaluating Roku based on just how "cool" and "aura-filled" he is as an Avatar. His role in the story is undeniably important and well-crafted, but as an Avatar, he’s simply mediocre and lame.
@Morgan_Scape@KingpinThawne Roku may have had an aura-like design and offered important advice to Aang, but as the Avatar, he was a failure and nothing impressive.
@Morgan_Scape@KingpinThawne The same show that showed Roku had an easy life as the Avatar, without any major conflict, wasn't able to do what was necessary, and so the genocide of the Air Nomads happened, and in the end he died from volcanic gases trying to save an island that had already been evacuated.
@Morgan_Scape@KingpinThawne Anyone who has read the Yangchen books knows the badass Avatar she is, perhaps even more so than Kyoshi. As for Roku, everything shown of him (series, comics, books) doesn't give the impression of a particularly cool Avatar; even Kuruk is a more interesting character.
@felicianohardy To me, Widow's beach skin should have been the Black Cat one (that swimsuit is totally her style), and the actual Widow's legendary skin should have been the Immortal Beast.
@_TheMaia@MarvelRivals I found it weird that, even though everyone hated the new format, they insisted on it again for this week's skins. I hope things go back to normal next season.
@MarvelRivals Didn't you guys notice that everyone hated this new skin showcase format? Just go back to the previous format, which really highlighted all the unique features of the skins.
