For the tunnel that led out of The Arena was filled with lethal traps that only those who were descendants of the House of Aldous knew about.
Arthur annoyed by Cassian agreed there wasn’t time to argue since the plan had gone south
Cassian a descendant of the House of Aldous knew where these secret passages were and had shared some of them with Arthur but had not shared the one that led out of the city because Arthur was too brash and reckless.
Cassian looking flatly and slightly annoyed at Arthur “Do we really have time for these frivolous questions?” There were rumors of a secret tunnel system beneath the arena with hidden. with hidden doors only known to the House of Aldous.
“Cassian, what are you doing here? You’re going to get us both caught and killed!” Arthur said with rage. “Lord Kilgore’s personal “snake” caught wind of our plan. This is a trap.” Arthur suspicious of Cassian, “How did you get past?”
The risk of Lord Kilgore finding out about Cassian’s and Arthur’s secret was far too great for both of them to loose both their lives by a mad man. Arthur’s escape was imperative.
Participating in Wizard Wednesday to share aspects of my origins was a truly joyous occasion. My narrative is far from complete, holds significant potential for roller coasters in my story. Anticipation builds to unveil it all to you. @dota@forgottenrunes@ElfJTrul@bearsnake_21
The voice behind Arthur brought anxiety, fear, but a slight bit of relief. Arthur knowing Lord Kilgore would not hesitate to torture Cassian for Arthur’s whereabouts.

Remember the story of old. Find the clues it beholds. A new tale is to arrive, that will hold new answers that will brighten one’s eye.

A long courtyard spreads out into Arthur's vision. Nostalgia and a sense of quiet eeriness creeps into Arthur's thoughts. There's quiet and there's..

My father was the type of king that listened to all. He was the type that made sure you felt valued and welcomed. He protected all with everything he had. He was a man of the people. A man of his word! @forgottenrunes
