Went on a stargazing tour last night near Joshua Tree. It was expensive, but worth it. They had six awesome telescopes. These aren’t my pics, but they are some of the things they showed us.

Visited a kitschy set of ridiculous shops in Joshua Tree yesterday. Quite amusing. This looked like a cargo-cult altar to our sci-fi gods! (Found in the ‘Alien Robot Museum’, which is next to the ‘Crochet Museum’).

@soulmeaning I visited these awesome trees (Sequoias) two weeks ago. They’re protected, but they were overprotected from fire for decades and no new ones grew. That’s fixed now.

@MichaelFKane Sad thing is that Daisy and Rey are really likable and that makes most of the trilogy feel like a cheap trick covering bad writing. I think the fans would come back for a good Rey story.

Pitch: Luke fathered kids and the bad guys know where they are and are hunting them. Rey finds out and needs to protect them. When she finds them, the mom sacrifices herself so they can escape. Rey’s force powers are also diminishing as she trains them and other new Jedi.
