I do think Dr. Muganga has done a little much to prove his patriotism and allegiance.
Why has this ministerial (dis)appointment suddenly become ideal for Banyarwanda staying in Uganda to die for??
@Jacquedavids1@innoce6@albertKatruGuma Dr. Muganga is being ill-advised by evil persons around him, thus creating solutions for non-existent problems.
We all know Dr. M is a Ugandan who holds dual-nationalities. This ground per Ugandan laws can't allow him to be appointed a minister. Simple.
Can anyone here name civil servants who were hanged on charges of corruption (resource mismanagement) during Amin's regime?
I find it very disturbing and disgusting whenever a person tries to say something good about Amin's evil regime.
@ReachDrMuganga is undermining a legitimate debate by framing it as discrimination against him as a Munyarwanda. That is not the issue. An expired passport does not mean one ceases to be a citizen; a passport is merely a travel document. Many Ugandan citizens do not even hold passports.
The real issue is straightforward: if you acquired Rwandan citizenship while working in Rwanda, Canadian citizenship while in Canada, and later Ugandan citizenship, then simply state the facts as they are. There is nothing inherently wrong with holding multiple citizenships. The question is whether Ugandaโs Constitution and laws permit a person with that citizenship history to hold certain offices, including that of Minister. That is the debateโnot ethnicity.
What are these fanatics trying to prove? We all know Dr. Muganga is a Ugandan citizen by birth. However, he holds citizenship for other countries, the ground that can't allow him to be appointed a minister in Uganda because of the laws of the land.
No need for 'okukungura'
Looking at Prof @ReachDrMuganga break down at his parents graves to prove Ugandans that he is ugandan ๐บ๐ฌ is the most heartbreaking thing I have experienced as a patriot, itโs not about ministry but to feel at home in a society that is driscriminating his identity
You people!
"In the war of egos the loser always wins" No one has come out stronger than the amiable outgoing Minister of state for Internal Affairs Gen.Hon.David Muhoozi. Rarely see such uproar to fit in the shoes of this modest man.Very tall order,we must reflect, learn, unlearn and relearn.
"Which transformation did Museveni bring to Ankole in the 1960s and 70s? Transformation only came when Banyankole got access to state resources in the 90s."
