@colinpenty 👍for #XboxSeriesX owners. What about state of it on #XboxSeriesS ? Please, add simple SSR analogue for rest of materials on nextgen console for masses(#XboxSeriesS) in same places on par with SeriesX. Thanks!
@ant_uk15@digitalfoundry@Dachsjaeger It has. Developers need time to learn new Velocity architecture, Mesh Shaders, DXR, DirectML and enhance game engine with them, similar to previous jumps between console generations. It seems current state is Recompiled than Optimized. But it's only start. https://t.co/LQXbISakBa

@ModernVintageG For $300+ on FPGA you'll get state of retro platforms that easily will be surpassed on modern Raspberry Pi or real retro consoles(Xbox, WiiU etc) via "dirty" software emulation for less money with higher degree of final result and comfort on user experience side.
@ModernVintageG For example, Amiga "reimplementation" via FPGA is still far away from level of WinUAE from 2001 year. Even C64 and ZX Spectrum FPGA cores have problems up to this moment. Brand new story with more LEs don't save situation on MiSTer drastically too.
@ModernVintageG Totally agree. After 4 years of active using of MiST, I noticed that popular FPGA cores are based on software emulation sources in some way or another. So myth about pure and full reimplementation of real hardware of retro platforms via FPGA is far from reality. So results too.
