@leesinner1 @LuciferAirways Oh I see that makes sense, Set 15 was also specifically a Set where APM was much more relevant simply because of fruits and how much time it took up transition turns.
Why APM DOES NOT MATTER in High Elo/Competitive TFT:
Bebe dropped a nuke on the NA TFT scene, and there was one part of his post that I found interesting, which was his mention of High APM/“Visible Skill Expression”, and I want to discuss this from a competitive view.

@LuciferAirways Think fast is definitely a specific case since the augment is literally an APM check and if it was in the game it would make APM more relevant for sure. I’m interested to see the games that dishsoap had where he thought APM was the main issue.
@Blastuch I never disagreed that having high APM can give you a slight edge at times, but even the players considered to have the highest APMs(setsuko, YBY) will most of the time make plays like leveling on neutrals because of consistency and interval which doesn’t compromise the spot.
and top players shouldn’t be judged on APM(even though it can look cool) but rather other aspects like proper planning, understanding of the meta, and decision making.
Good luck to anyone trying to achieve higher goals TFT in set 18, and don’t let your APM hold you back!

To be clear, I’m not saying that APM is useless in the slightest, and messing up turns due to Low APM is definitely frustrating, but no one should be discouraged from competing/trying to push high elo just because of Low APM, (12/13)
Out at 15th at Regionals Week 2. Really devastated because if there's anything I've learned from competing it's that you never know if an opportunity is gonna come back so feels really bad to miss out on worlds. Congrats to everyone who made it and I'll try my best next set.
Made it back to TPC🥲Didn't play my best but will be locked in for next weekend to try and make worlds! Shoutout to BK and PMD for helping me perform this weekend‼️
