The IHSSA Executive Committee voted this morning to cancel all State Speech Contests set for this Saturday. The All-State festival on March 30 at UNI is also canceled.

The annual ELC Pops Concert is held in the Little Theatre tonight at 7:00!
Performances include:
-Treble Choir
-Varsity Choir
-Jazz Choir
-Various Solos
-2 Individual Speech Musical Theatre Performers

Good luck to the ELC Jazz Band as they perform for the NCIBA District Jazz Band Contest in Clear Lake tomorrow located at the E.B. Stillman Auditorium 1601 3rd Ave N, Clear Lake IA at 6:30 p.m. Cost to get in will be $3 for adults and $2 for students.

Of the 7 groups, five received three straight division 1 ratings. One received a mixed division 1 rating. One received a division 2 rating. Fantastic day! 😁

ELC Jazz Band will perform tonight at the State Jazz Band Contest in Spirit Lake at 8:10 p.m. in the SAMI Center.

Admission: Adults $7 ,
Senior Citizens $5
Students K-12 $3

ELC Large Group Speech: 10 groups competed at districts today. 7 received Division 1 ratings and will continue onto State! The State Speech competition will be held Feb. 8th in LeMars.

Large Group Speech will travel to Spencer tomorrow for districts. REMINDER to all participants and audience/supporters: DO NOT wear ELC attire. It is an IHSSA rule, and the school could be disqualified. Good luck to all!!
