People often complain about modern games being handholdy or too easy, and this is exactly why.
The modern “gamer” doesn’t want to engage with the slightest bit of friction or discomfort.
While in no way am I anti-modding, it is interesting how many popular mods exist to purely dilute or remove elements of friction/challenge from the experience even when it is at odds with what the game is trying to accomplish.
my FUCKING god dude we've been on this fucking cycle for so long of dick heads getting mad at the newest shit just to glaze a past game for the exact same shit
"Wilds is ass I prefer rise🤓"
"Rise is ass I prefer world🤓"
"World is ass I prefer gu/old mh🤓"
Except a lot of people aren't giving criticism that is actually something, like I'm tired of everybody acting like wilds has just this toxic positivity when I'm mostly seeing people just being negatively toxic most of the time.
@Bananayagaming Its the same people Bitching about something with wilds. At this point dude its your personality its why you're getting shit you have made this your thing. Not to mention the shit they are "criticizing" is coming from their elitists opinions not actually anything worth a damn
@CamDog_MonHun@TheNovaPlayss https://t.co/DvE5bPGUl4 any follow up that a monster would have would require repositioning to not get punished. Alot of gore, steve,Lagi, dosh ect...
@StygianAdara@BedManWriting Its just a bunch of people who started in world or old gen players who think old gen was better and have shit on every game since the first they played.
@5HeadAsshole@BedManWriting The preparation thing cracks me up the most cause its literally just always been maybe I Need a hot drink maybe I need a cool drink. Only thing I want gone from new gen games is restock
@crazousis@DerrickFarbes@ricecakeVS Its always been brain dead except now monsters feel like actual monsters and not punching bags that randomly sit in place after every attack for 10 seconds
