@sanjeevsanyal These cities don't "produce" anything (Bangloreans mostly software coolies for West, Mumbai mainly rush in financial markets). They have also largely lost their cultural roots, the youngsters there are completely Westernized. "Clustering" should not be at the expense of culture.

@sanjeevsanyal Precisely because they have copied the Western model for development. Mad rush to the cities and crazy work hours in the name of "development" has led them to lose their culture. As such, they decide not to have kids.

@gurcharandas Signs of the globalist model failing in India is not a “tragedy” by any sense. If you’ve set from the outset to only be a mirror copy of Yale/Harvard/etc. and actively neglect your cultural roots/values, you can only go so far as an Indian institution.
