It’s nothing but to show his authority over people

हर तरफ आपको Americans जश्न मनाते दिखेंगे - "America is great, dreamland, world's best country" जैसे slogans के साथ।

I've been tracking the E20 debate for a month while monitoring my Honda's mileage. Drove to Baijnath (HP) and commute 40 km daily in the city. I use premium petrol (Power/Speed). Mileage: 16.7 km/l highway, 13 km/l city, 12 km/l mountains
Why is E20 not affecting my car mileage
@Nirvanasanjay@amitkilhor I never thought about it. I changed my vehicle, & got a new Honda Elevate, last June. The average is hardly 12-13. Though Honda Elevate is a heavy vehicle, with heavy engine… still
A guy stuck his head into a barbershop and asked, “How long before I can get a haircut?” The barber looked around the shop full of customers and said, “About 2 hours.” The guy left.
A few days later, the same guy stuck his head in the door and asked, “How long before I can get a haircut?” The barber looked around the shop and said, “About 3 hours.” The guy left.
The barber turned to his friend and said, “Hey, Bob, do me a favor. Follow him and see where he goes. He keeps asking how long he has to wait for a haircut, but he never comes back.”
A little while later, Bob returned to the shop, laughing hysterically. The barber asked, “So, where does he go when he leaves?” Bob looked up, wiped the tears from his eyes, and said, “Your house!”
Eminent Civil Servants , Judges, lawyers, Professors, Writers, civil society groups, leaders of various movements from all over the country came together at the conclave and after detailed deliberations, strongly REJECTED the proposal for ‘One Nation, One Election’.
And after considerable thought on the issue, decided to reject the 'One Nation, One Election' move because it will fracture the federal compact of the country.
It will also curtail the ability of state assemblies to run their own affairs in the manner in which the Constitution has empowered them. The 'One Nation, One Election' as an idea is an old idea which has now got some traction in recent years. But considering the views of Supreme Court judges, election commissioners, social scientists, and activists connected with grassroots movements, and Former Civil Servants and considering all those views which were presented today, it is very clear that this idea is ONOE does not sync well with Indian democracy, Indian federalism, and the Indian Republic.
In addition to that, already the citizens' rights have been curtailed in various ways, and they will be further curtailed if ONOE is pushed forward. For the citizens' rights, it is not just the constitutional right of voting, but the fundamental right is being compromised, and that's a very serious situation according to the Supreme Court judges who spoke in this meeting.
The conclave also expressed deep concern over the CURTAILMENT OF CITIZEN'S RIGHTS AND THE LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN THE ELECTORAL PROCESS .
THERE IS A HUGE CRISIS OF TRUST IN THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA.@ECISVEEP
The Commission has been acting in a manner which is not transparent and has been resisting accountability towards the citizens of the country. All demands to make public Form 17C, CCTV camera footage, presiding officer diaries, and other electoral records have been resisted by the Election Commission.
And the draconian SIR exercise which has been undertaken has hurled millions into anxiety and has disenfranchised nearly 6.5 million people. Some of them would be dead or have shifted, but many with real documents who have not been able to vote. And the estimated number of deletions after the SIR is likely to be 100 million.
These kind of problems from the election watchdog do not augur well for our electoral democracy.
The conclave successfully achieved its aim to foster informed dialogue and develop actionable recommendations on strengthening federalism, protecting electoral integrity, and safeguarding citizenship rights in India.

Judges of our fine constitutional courts grant bail from A to Z, so why can't we cut them some slack if they overlook U for Umar, or S for Sharjeel. While some may not get bail in court, our judges never hesitate to secure life and liberty in weekend lectures in India and abroad
