@RajKarnie@sabeer Muslims killed lakhs of people in 1946-47 because they wanted a separate muslims country. They did this because they knew BJP will be formed and come to power in 2014 and do Hindu-Muslim politics. They had such great foresight
@Honest_Cric_fan Secularism is not defined anywhere in the Constitution. Article 15 provides that government shall not discriminate against any citizen solely on the bases of religion. Where is the discrimination in playing a religious song during a private event organized by a private board.
@Honest_Cric_fan Secularism applies to government and government owned organization. BCCI and IPL are not government organization or government event. A private organization can play any religious song it wants. Anyways, how will sentiments of other religions hurt due to Hindu religion songs.
@BSRao64@BesuraTaansane Even without tax, cost of an item for a poor will always be more in proportion of his income, than it would be for a rich man. Should all items have different price slabs for different people depending on their financial status?
@BesuraTaansane Even if government removes GST, the price will still be costlier for poor than it would be for a rich person. So basically it's not the tax that's the problem. As per her, there should be different prices for the same product depending on the financial position of the buyer.
@talk2anuradha People can pay thousands of rupees in electricity bills every month for using AC, but they can't afford 18% GST on purchase of AC which is done once in 10 to 15 years.
