@ccg33k@sid0210 Hi @ccg33k , thanks for the detailed post and sharing hack
Just wanted to confirm, did you got 100% refund? as I think taxes and other government charges will not be refunded right?
CTO: We lost our strongest backend engineer today.
Founder: The one handling infra and outages?
CTO: Yes.
Founder: Did a bigger company hire him?
CTO: No.
Founder: Then why quit?
CTO: He said he was exhausted.
Founder: From the workload?
CTO: Not exactly. From watching the same database bottleneck, same queue lag, same deployment mistakes come back every month.
Founder: That happens in fast moving teams.
CTO: He agreed. What he could not accept was that every fix was temporary because nobody wanted to slow down and clean the system properly.
Founder: We had deadlines.
CTO: He had standards.
Founder: So he left because the work was hard?
CTO: No. He left because he was not doing engineering anymore. He was just containing damage.
The best engineers do not hate hard problems.
They hate preventable problems that management keeps normalizing.
@airtelindia I'm trying to locate my nearest Airtel store since a week and website is not working.
I have 4 airtel prepaid connections and want to club everything into one Airtel black subscription but customer care is just routing calls. Please check
Super pumped about this project — if you’re tired of wrangling skills, configs, and rules across multiple environments, this was built for you.

Yesterday the Police showed me the CCTV footage of the physical assault that happened with me on 19th Dec, 2025 at Terminal 1 of IGI Airport.
Here are some new things that I realised, looking at the footage:
🔸 I probably had a concussion after the first blow in my head, because I do not remember the repeated blows later, and that I was dragged across the floor by Sejwal.
🔸 It is absolutely clear in the footage that Sejwal started the physical assault, and was absolutely manical while doing it.
🔸 @CISFAirport was very quick to action, and there were 4 - 5 CISF personnel there, unlike how I remembered. In fact, Sejwal was wanting to hit me two times before but was held back by CISF & onlookers. CISF was constantly calling for restraint. And when he finally started the assault, at least three CISF personnel quickly began trying to disengage him. One of them actually jumped over a table to immediately come to my aid. My heartfelt gratitude to all of them. 🙏🏼
🔸 Capt Sejwal did not remove his sweater even once, but I clearly saw his stripes underneath when he adjusted the sweater. And this talk of 'off-duty, passenger to passenger' cannot fly in the face of the facts. Even on the day of the incident, Sejwal & senior AIX officials told me and the multiple agencies present there that he was to fly from Bangalore. Deadheading (crew positioning) counts as flight duty under @DGCAIndia rules, and @AirIndiaX cannot shirk that responsibility.
Apart from the above, I would like to mention the following:
🔹 I have filed an FIR in the matter, and now the law will take its due course.
🔹 I was having a constant headache. Medical investigation has revealed a fracture in my left nasal bone.
🔹 I wonder why no-one is talking about Sejwal being on the no fly list?
🔹 Having met @DelhiPolice personnel, my whole perception about them has changed. Their courtesy towards me, and dedication for their work, has been truly impressive. The Investigating Officer in my case was working till 1 am in the night yesterday, and was back at 9 am in the morning today. I know because both times I was with him.
While the above praises for CISF & Delhi Police may seem conveniently timed to some, I am not a person who says these things lightly. Those who know me from before, would know that I do not sugar coat my words, or like to appease anybody.
In these 5 days, I have received tremendous support from hundreds of people on X. I am deeply grateful to everyone. A lot of people felt very passionately about what happened, and I heard many other unfortunate airport stories in these 5 days. Please know that I personally feel that, in this case at least, I will get justice.
Right now I am just concentrating on my health, and hence not writing very much. Thank you for all your kind wishes for my health. 🙏🏼
Terrible incident at Delhi Airport where an @AirIndiaX pilot thrashed a passenger @ankitdewan. Victim on @ndtv to talk about it with @reetksahni & me:
Here is a short video of Capt. Virender Sejwal looking at me lying on the floor, covered in blood, and probably realising the gravity of the situation for the first time.
And a few more things that I did not mention in my earlier post:
🔸 My wife kept requesting for first aid. The guy got there after 15 minutes, but empty handed. He said that we must go to the medical centre. While I denied first aid, my wife was very worried and wanted it to be administered, so I said ok. But the medical centre was air side, and @CISFAirport wouldn't let me cross the security. So after some 45 minutes, a suitcase was hauled in with medicines, and then I was given First Aid. Isn't it simply appalling state of affairs at @DelhiAirport ? What if someone needed it urgently? Have you ever heard of an emergency responder showing up empty handed?
🔸 The pilot initially claimed he was from Alliance Air, probably wanting to escape without involving his employer.
🔸 Virender Sejwal was getting frisked at the Security Check while continuing his verbal spat with me. There, he told the CISF guy "main issko maar ke aata hu" (I'll come back after hitting him). My wife who had already cleared security check through the ladies line, heard it clearly. But did CISF take any preventive action? No.
🔸 This lone security check gate had one x-ray machine, and one men & one ladies line. However it was not only being used by staff and people with strollers, but also by people on wheelchairs, and also by people carrying big cabin baggage such as guitars. One x-ray machine for everyone, with staff claiming priority ... It was a ticking time bomb. The person who decided this arrangement at @DelhiAirportGMR should also be found responsible in this as well.
🔸 I was flying @flyspicejet and their senior people reached there as well. Many thanks to them that I was able to catch my plane, as they were in constant communication with the gate.
🔸 My wife couldn't take more pictures or videos because our phones were initially lying in the tray on the x-ray machine, and because she was busy frantically calling people who could help, and because all throughout she had an infant in one arm. Hats off to her for managing all this, and also her own emotions at a time like this. Found her crying silently late into the night yesterday, after the children had slept, finally releasing all her pent up stress. Women can be so tough when it comes to it. And my wife ... 🙏🏼.
🔸 @DelhiAirport must release the CCTV footage to the public domain so people can draw their own conclusions of the incident.
🔸 I hope that @DGCAIndia & @AirIndiaX will go beyond just suspension of the pilot.
This is a big security lapse if he was off duty travelling as a passenger, using the staff queue, Trying to cut corners and using entitlement.
@DelhiAirport Your response is also required here, why is another passenger without a toddler or stroller allowed to use a crew lane? Was he directed by security personnel or was he just using his pilot entitlement. We need security footage recoverable till the matter settles. Also @DelhiPolice
Should intervene in this matter now.
We were also directed to use a different lane with a stroller and no other person was there.
@DGCAIndia
@AirIndiaX, today one of your pilots, Capt. Virender Sejwal, assaulted me physically at T1, Delhi Airport.
Here are the facts of the matter,:
🔸 Me & my family were guided to use the security check that the staff uses (also the PRM check), because we had a 4 month old baby in a stroller.
🔸 The staff was cutting the queue ahead of me. On calling them out, Capt. Virender, who himself was doing the same thing, asked me if I was anpadh (uneducated), and couldn't read the signs that said this entry was for staff.
🔸 A verbal scuffle broke out.
🔸 Not able to excercise restraint, the AIX pilot proceeded to physically assault me, leaving me bloody. The blood in the photograph (first comment) on his shirt is also mine.
Here are my issues with the whole thing:
🔹 My holiday is ruined. The first thing I have done here is see a doctor.
🔹 My 7 year old daughter, who saw her father get assaulted brutally, is still traumatized & scared.
🔹 I have no clue how @DGCAIndia & @AirIndiaX can allow such pilots to fly. If they can't keep their cool in a scuffle, can they be trusted with the lives of hundreds of people in the sky?
🔹 How can @DelhiAirport get away with such mismanagement, combining staff entry with passengers carrying infants, creating chaos at a sensitive security area? I thought Airports were safe places!
🔹 I was forced to write a letter stating that I will not pursue this matter further ... It was either write that letter, or miss my flight and throw the 1.2 lakhs holiday bookings down the drain. @DelhiPolice, why can't I file a complaint after coming back? Must I sacrifice my money too, to seek justice? Will the CCTV footage disappear in the 2 days till I make it back to Delhi?
To my friends & well wishers, I am pretty shaken, but nothing permanent. Can't say the same about my daughter though. 😢
@LGIndia My 2 months old AC is malfunctioning and customer support is disconnecting calls after hold and now saying contact @amazonIN as you purchased it online, why are you calling us
