@tarkov Icebreaker is a great map, but the way you unlock the from-map access is badly designed. Me and a friend are rather bad players, so for us beating the BD in the engine room is really hard - having to deal with that + the campers made us give up on icebreaker after 2 days.

@Gigabeef It drives revenue from edition upgrades, which are already pay2win. Probably also a primary reason for the prestige changes - a lot more enticing to get the early boost with unheard if you prestige a few times.
The way it's implemented (for grouping) also creates social prestige.

4-6h is their new "normal" for all patches, and this has some pretty deep changes meant to drive edition upgrade sales - which work really well in combination with the prestige changes.

@VeryBadSCAVR Unlikely it's Icebreaker - Icebreaker is the biggest addition to the game since 1.0, so it has to be atleast a x.x.1 increment. Most likely seasons will be x.1 increments.

@ProudBavaria Well deserved. The game has no identity, it's not the map-painter one faction of the community wants (aka EU4.5) and it's not the deep sandbox another part wants (aka Victoria 1337).
Not to mention the shitty gameplay, the terrible UI and the abyssal performance.
