Durante la administración de Enrique Peña Nieto, Emilio Lozoya Austin, exdirector de Pemex, detalló a la FGR que dio 52 millones 380 mil pesos en sobornos a legisladores del PAN, para que aprobaran la Reforma Energética. La UIF halló depósitos de más de 40 mdp a favor de exsenador Gil Zuarth; además se descubrió gastos por más de 170 mdp en tarjetas, compras y blindajes de automóviles.
