I honestly thought this map was made up

Hundreds of supertankers, the kind that carry two million barrels each, are currently racing toward the US Gulf Coast from every direction. Atlantic, Indian Ocean, around Africa, the scenic route, the "we were heading to Saudi Arabia but NVM" route.

Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz and everyone panicked. Oil hit $126 a barrel. Gas hit $4 a gallon. Cable news did the thing where they put a red banner on screen and say "CRISIS" in a font that suggests you should be hoarding toilet paper.

And then something happened that nobody in media seems interested in reporting, for obvious reasons. The world just... switched suppliers? Like changing your internet provider except the internet provider is the entire effing global energy economy.

American oil exports are approaching record levels. Gulf Coast refineries are running at 95% capacity. Supertankers that were mid-ocean on their way to the Persian Gulf literally turned around and headed to Texas. That's not a metaphor. Ship tracking data shows them doing U-turns in the Indian Ocean.

Meanwhile China, which was getting 45% of its oil imports through Hormuz and paying basement prices for sanctioned Iranian crude, is now competing with Japan and Europe for the same expensive American barrels. Chinese manufacturers are already raising prices 20% on goods headed to the US.

So to summarize: Iran played its biggest card and the main result is that the United States became the world's emergency gas station and China's cheap energy subsidy evaporated.

This is either the most elaborate coincidence in the history of geopolitics... or someone planned the sequence Venezuela -> Iran -> profits!

چه دوباره جنگ شود و چه چهل سال دیگر ج‌الف در قدرت بماند. من همان دیشب که ایران تا مرز آلودگی اتمی و خاموشی سراسری می‌رفت، تکلیف خودم را مشخص کردم. اینکه دیگر حتی لحظه‌ای ته صف این اپوزیسیون ملی‌گرای پلاستیکی که با پیشکاری و مزدوری مترصد بر باد دادن ایران است، نخواهم ایستاد. شرکای استراتژیک! تا ادعای خاموش کردن تمدن ما رفتند یک سری آدم هم سرشان را چرخاندند سمت دیگر و خود را به ندیدن زدند!
این جنگ و برنامه‌ی حمله به اقتصاد و عمران مردم، طرح و اجرای استراتژی‌هایی مثل قتل‌عام مردم ایران برای قابل پذیرش کردنش حتی اجرای پلان مسلح کردن گروه‌های کمونیستی اقلیم، ایده و دست‌گل سازمان اف دد و امثال سعید قاسمی‌نژاد و شرکا در آمریکا بود. از نظر من هر کس با این‌ها همکاری کند، هر کس خیانت‌های آشکار این جماعت در سال‌های اخیر را نبیند یا بر آن سرپوش بگذارد خود خائن است.
همچنین من دولت کنونی اسراییل را دیگر متحد مردم ایران نمی‌شناسم و زین پس همانطور که مساله‌ی فلسطین برایم خارج از موضوع و بی‌اهمیت بوده است در برابر اسراییل هم چنین موضعی خواهم داشت.
تمام کسانی که موافق ایده‌ی جنگ بوده‌اند باید از خویش بپرسند چرا بجای دانشگاه به حوزه‌‌های علمیه حمله نشد؟ چرا بجای مسجد ترجیح دادند به پل و شرکت دارو حمله کنند؟ چرا حتی یک اصلاح‌طلب هدف قرار نگرفت؟ چرا با ادعای کمک و تغییر رژیم ناگهان به فروپاشی و یوگسلاوی‌سازی کردن ایران تغییر مسیر دادند؟
من ایدآل سیاسی خویش یعنی برقراری دولت ملی و ادامه‌ی نظام پادشاهی آریامهر را حفظ خواهم کرد اما از عمو‌های شما دیگر حمایتی نخواهم کرد نه از نوفدی و نه کارمندان مزدور اندیشکده‌های آمریکایی که اگر روزی زبانم لال قدرت کنترل یک محله بهشان منتقل شود، از فساد و بی‌لیاقتی، حراست و پاسبانی که هیچ تا لولای درها را هم به فروش خواهند رساند... من شاه را برای ایران می‌خواهم نه ایران را برای شاه... که این تاریخ پر است از فریدون و ضحاک... نه شرمنده، من تحت هیچ شرایطی به استقرار یک دولت خودفروخته‌ و پروژه‌ی مستعمره‌سازی و فدرالیزه کردن ایران با تمرکز بر اتنیک‌های قومی، شارلاتان‌بازی‌های اقوام ایران‌گرا! و هزار و یک پروژه‌ی دیگر از شیرین عبادی تا مهدی نصیری کمک نخواهم کرد. شما برید تا یکی دو سال دیگر هی عکس یادگاری و تو بقلی بگیرید، همایش و کنفرانس برگزار کنید و به اسم ایران شوآف کنید، برای خودتان پست و مقام خیالی دست و پا کنید، به مجاهد و مریم لچک گفتگو کنید، لایک و فالور جمع کنید ما هم تلاش خواهیم کرد این اپوزیسیون را از خیانت‌کار و دیوس و حمال اجنبی که رخ ملی‌گرا هم گرفته‌اند، تا جایی که می‌شود پاکسازی کنیم... که اگر اینکار را نکنیم ج‌الف تا چهل سال دیگر بر سر قدرت است. دیشب نقطه‌ی افتراق ما و شما بر سر موجودیت ایران بود. شما را به خیر اجنبی و ما را به سلامت وطن... #پاينده_ایران

یک عده کاملا در پوشش مخالف دو آتشه، در حال حمایت حداکثری از تبدیل ایران به سرزمین سوخته هستند که بشود پایگاه ج.ا. و افراطیون اسلامی، همان هایی که به همه می پرند و فحش میدهند که چرا از آتش بس خوشحالید، وقت خوبی برای شناخت آدمها و تشخیص میهن پرستان از بیشرفان است
