So, those who were taunting #YRF after #Dhurandhar got their ANSWER with this one because when it comes to mounting and delivering a FILM at this level, that too with female actors, it is absolutely HISTORIC!
Yes, #Alpha is a BANGER ENTERTAINER that has all the ingredients of a COMMERCIAL SPY FILM. It has BOMBASTIC ACTION, SUPER LOCALES, a good PREMISE, and above all, EXCELLENT ACTORS. 💥 The 1st half of the film starts slow but becomes racy when Twists & turns start playing out, connects all the dots well, and establishes the characters..The intro scenes of #AliaBhatt & #Sharvari are one to watch out for !! Plus the Interval ends on quite interesting WAY ..👌🏻
The 2nd half of the FILM is where you are going to witness all the ACTION SCENES, thrilling moments, and the answers to what happened and why it happened. Though the 2nd half has some editing issues, which make it feel a little long, it was necessary for the plot. The FILM ends on a BANGER note that will surely lead to the next SPY FILM!
Performance-wise, SUPERSTAR #AliaBhatt is a ONE HORSE RACE. She is UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME in the action scenes and perfectly suited for the role with her body mannerisms. That dialogue delivery, those intense moments… uff, she OWNED this CHARACTER!! #Sharvari, after MVA, has delivered another PERFORMANCE to watch out for. Her pauses, action scenes, confrontation scene with Alia, and their bonding… she is too good and an emerging SUPERSTAR. 💥
Rest, #BobbyDeol’s role was short, but he is absolutely mind-boggling. His screen presence at this age is commendable. 🙏🏻 #AnilKapoor, as always, is excellent and completely in character. The rest of the star cast is SOLID!!
The direction by Shiv is something new, as the director has tried bringing something fresh to the SPY Universe. All the colour palettes, Action Scenes, premise, and execution give a different feel compared to the other spy films. Great work here!! The LIFELINE of the film is the BGM…When they play during the action sequences 🥵🥶
And last but not least, the BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT OF THE FILM - the GREEK GOD SUPERSTAR #HrithikRoshan’s CAMEO as Kabir. Won’t say much as you need to experience it yourself, but the WHISTLES and CLAPPING in the theatre were NON-STOP!!👏🏻
Overall, #Alpha is a STRONG FILM in every department and could be the COMEBACK FILM of YRF. Watch it for the NEW THEME and SLICK ACTION SCENES. This one is A DIFFERENT WATCH… GO FOR IT ✅
