When a general public car uses a police siren in Delhi 🚨
— Law & order takes a tea break ☕️
Over to you @DelhiPolice@dtptraffic#IllegalSiren#DelhiRoads
Route: Nangloi Police Station To Mundka
Now the real mystery: Why is my ₹1499 lost too? 🤡
Multiple escalations, grievance officers, consumer forums—and still no answers.
Is this a refund process or a treasure hunt? Need an Answer from the officials

Initially, it gave me an incorrect total of ₹24,865. When I questioned the result, it recalculated and gave the correct total: ₹22,265. Why did it show misleading information at first?
@sanjeev__kapoor Old personal vehicles, especially diesels, pollute heavily and harm Delhi’s already toxic air.
This ban is about public health, not just age.
@sanjeev__kapoor Respectfully, comparing old aircraft or trains to personal vehicles misses the point.Public transport and military aircraft are maintained to high standards and serve mass needs.
@A_K_Mandhan Conclusion:
There’s no real mystery & it’s a mix of statistical misunderstanding and socio-economic complexity. India has:
A massive informal economy
Low income levels across most of the population
High aspirations and consumerism
And a narrow income tax base due to exemptions

What’s Being Missed?
1. Tax Structure in India
Out of 140+ crore people, only ~50 crore are in the working-age population.
A large percentage earn below the taxable threshold (₹2.5–5 lakh per annum) — they are legally not required to pay income tax.
@A_K_Mandhan 4. Unaccounted Income
Some high-spending individuals don’t declare full income or evade tax.
Cash-based economy in rural and semi-urban India allows tax avoidance.
5. Corporate & Government Sector
Many vehicles, phones, and credit cards are registered under company names.
@A_K_Mandhan Senior citizens, students, homemakers: They spend but don't earn taxable income.
People under GST or other indirect taxes contribute to government revenue, but not via income tax.
@A_K_Mandhan 3. Non-taxable Income Groups
Farmers: Agricultural income is exempt from income tax.
Businessmen/small shopkeepers: Many are either under the presumptive tax scheme or do not file returns despite high consumption.
@A_K_Mandhan 2. Multiple Assets per Household
Families often own multiple vehicles (e.g., 2 two-wheelers + 1 car) — not necessarily 1 per tax-paying individual.
Many credit cards are owned by the same person, or given as add-on cards to family members.
It's been days, and there's no resolution! Is this how you treat your customers? This is highly unprofessional and disappointing. Never shopping from Myntra again! #MyntraFail#BadService#FrustratedCustomer"
@MyntraSupport@Lifestyle_Store@myntra, I ordered Kappa Track Pants in a specific color, but you sent me a different one. I raised a return request, but it's been on hold since Feb 7, 2024. Every time I call, I’m told to wait another 24 hours.
