अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद जिला शिमला द्वारा उपायुक्त कार्यालय शिमला के बाहर UILS और UIIT में ली जा रही अतिरिक्त फीस के विरोध में धरना प्रदर्शन किया।

विद्यार्थी परिषद इसका पुरजोर विरोध करती है और मांग करती है कि छात्रों से केवल ट्यूशन फीस ही ली जाए।

Depriving students from basic resources and basic facilities like hostels, labs, required equipments and the list goes on. Asking from such a hefty amount of fee is totally pointless.

UIIT एवं UILS में सरकार की अधिसूचना का उल्लंघन करते हुए फीस में लिए जा रहे अतिरिक्त फण्ड के खिलाफ आज अभाविप शिमला जिला द्वारा उपायुक्त कार्यालय के बाहर धरना प्रदर्शन किया गया ।
इस दौरान अभाविप ने मांग की कि छात्रों से केवल ट्यूशन फीस ही ली जाए।

UIIT के छात्रों से भरी भरकम फीस वसूलना शिक्षा जगत के लिए किसी भी दिशा से तर्कसंगत नहीं।
ABVP भारी फीस वृद्धि की निंदा करती है तथा सरकार व विवि प्रशासन से मांग करती है कि शीघ्र छात्रहित में फीस को कम कर निर्णय वापिस लिया जाए।
