माननीय केंद्रीय मत्स्यपालन, पशुपालन एवं डेयरी @Dept_of_AHD @Min_FAHD तथा पंचायती राज मंत्री @mopr_goi , श्री राजीव रंजन सिंह उर्फ ललन सिंह जी @LalanSingh_1 ने ‘पोषण सुरक्षा एवं कुपोषण उन्मूलन में कॉर्पोरेट सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (सीएसआर) की भूमिका’ पर आयोजित राष्ट्रीय कॉनक्लेव में अपने संबोधन में कहा कि आज की यह पहल देश के भविष्य और बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास को सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण और पुण्य प्रयास है। उन्होंने कहा कि कुपोषण बच्चों के शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास पर गंभीर नकारात्मक प्रभाव डालता है, इसलिए कुपोषण-मुक्त भारत की दिशा में ठोस और सामूहिक प्रयास अत्यंत आवश्यक हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि कुपोषण से मुक्ति का सबसे प्रभावी मार्ग संतुलित आहार है, जिसमें दूध की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। दूध बच्चों के शारीरिक एवं मानसिक विकास के साथ-साथ उनकी रोग-प्रतिरोधक क्षमता को भी सुदृढ़ करता है। उन्होंने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि भारत विश्व में सबसे अधिक दूध उत्पादन करने वाला देश है और यदि दूध एवं दुग्ध उत्पाद गरीब, आदिवासी और वंचित वर्गों तक प्रभावी रूप से पहुँचें, तो इसके दूरगामी सकारात्मक परिणाम प्राप्त हो सकते हैं।

माननीय मंत्री जी ने एनडीडीबी फाउंडेशन फॉर न्यूट्रीशन (NFN) के प्रयासों के साथ-साथ कुपोषण उन्मूलन की दिशा में एनडीडीबी की भूमिका और प्रतिबद्धता की सराहना की। उन्होंने ‘गिफ्टमिल्क कार्यक्रम’ और ‘शिशु संजीवनी योजना’ को दूरदर्शी पहल बताते हुए कहा कि हालांकि इस लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति अकेले संभव नहीं है। इसके लिए सरकार, कॉर्पोरेट जगत, सहकारी संस्थाओं, गैर-सरकारी संगठनों और सीएसआर के माध्यम से सामूहिक सहयोग आवश्यक है। उन्होंने सभी से एनडीडीबी के साथ समन्वय स्थापित कर माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी के कुपोषण-मुक्त भारत के संकल्प को साकार करने का आह्वान किया।

NDDB and Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (@TANUVAS_Tweets ) virtually signed a strategic MoU to strengthen collaboration in research, productivity enhancement and capacity building in the livestock and dairy sectors. The MoU was signed by Dr @ShahMeenesh , Chairman and Managing Director, NDDB and Dr R Narendra Babu, Registrar & Vice Chancellor (i/c), TANUVAS. The partnership will support joint research, data-driven studies, student–faculty engagement and innovations to improve productivity, animal health, welfare and sustainability.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Shah highlighted the long-standing NDDB–TANUVAS association, appreciating TANUVAS’s contributions to breed conservation & bull testing and noting Tamil Nadu’s key role since the Operation Flood era. He expressed confidence that the MoU will further boost joint research, capacity building and field validation of new technologies. Dr R Narendra Babu acknowledged NDDB’s pivotal role in India’s dairy development and the cooperative movement.

Hon'ble Union Home Affairs and Cooperation Minister Shri @AmitShah ji addressed the National Conference on the initiatives taken by @MinOfCooperatn in the past 100 days.

He stated that 'White Revolution 2.0' will empower women, combat malnutrition among children, create jobs and strengthen organic farming. Honourable Minister mentioned that this initiative will especially benefit women through dairy income.

Shri Shah mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister @narendramodi ji , the government is working to improve the rural economy through cooperative institutions. The aim of establishing the Ministry of Cooperation is to revitalise cooperative organisations in every district and village.

He further explained that approximately 60 new initiatives have been implemented in the last three years, with 10 new initiatives launched in the past 100 days which will broaden the cooperative sector.

The Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh ji (@LalanSingh_1) shared his thoughts at the National Conference regarding the 100-day initiatives of @MinOfCooperatn. He noted that the visionary leadership of Prime Minister @narendramodi ji has led to the immense impact of innovative schemes like the ‘Rashtriya Gokul Mission’ over the past nine years. Milk production has doubled, and there has been a significant increase in fish production. White Revolution 2.0 will enhance the income of farmers & livestock breeders through cooperatives.

Dr @ShahMeenesh, Chairman, NDDB expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the esteemed Ministers for their presence and guidance. He extended special thanks to the Ministry of Cooperation and the @Dept_of_AHD under the 'Sahakar Se Samriddhi' vision. He stated that there is no better alternative to cooperation for upliftment of farmers. He also thanked the farmers for their significant contributions. Furthermore, he emphasised that NDDB and all affiliated organisations are fully committed to work towards empowering farmers.

Mr. Patrick Rata, the High Commissioner of New Zealand to India, along with Ms. Melanie Phillips, Counsellor for Agriculture and Ms. Arpita Basu, Policy Advisor visited NDDB today and met Dr @ShahMeenesh, Chairman, NDDB. The discussions focused on areas of possible research collaboration between two countries with respect to introducing index-based selection to ensure profitability of dairy farmers, identification of SLICK gene in Indian cattle population, use of liquid semen for AI for increasing coverage, selection of embryos of high genetic merit through biopsy, reducing methane emission etc.

The dialogue also included discussion on opportunities for India to become a manufacturing hub for advanced dairy equipment like conductivity systems, methane measurement using green feed technology, animal monitoring halter systems, and robust biosecurity systems. Capacity building initiatives and knowledge sharing were key aspects of the agenda.
The delegation toured NDDB's 'Parikrama' display gallery to learn more about its initiatives. They also met with @Jayen_Mehta, MD, @Amul_Coop and visited @DairyAmul ’s dairy plant. During their visit, Dr Amit Vyas briefed about the dairy's digitalisation efforts aimed at enhancing efficiency across the dairy network.

NDDB family extends its heartiest congratulations to Dr @ShahMeenesh , Chairman & Managing Director, NDDB for getting elected to the Board of @FIL_IDF as a delegate of the General Assembly and getting opportunity and responsibility to represent the voice of millions of dairy farmers from the small holder based dairying system to the global forum.

Dr Shah while thanking the Delegates of IDF, mentioned that representation from India to the Board will definitely be a win-win for the global dairy sector as the growth of the International dairy sector would continue to be fuelled by India and with implementation of the advanced scientific measures and technologies, Indian dairy system will become more efficient, effective and sustainable. He assured IDF Board that the collective journey will bring out the best for the global dairy sector.
