The harsh truth about writing online:
If nobody hates your content, nobody loves it.
Look at the most popular brands. They all have a strong point of view. I'm not suggesting you be a dick for engagement purposes (there are already enough muppets online).
But if you want people to stand with you, they must know what you stand against.
Here's an easy way to be more polarising:
- Grab a notebook.
- Find your top 5 competitors.
- Consume their content. Every time you see a point you disagree with, make a note.
- Then use these as prompts for your posts.
Because your audience is seeing the same stuff you are.
Many are just as fed up.
Write about the change you want to see in the world, and I guarantee you'll attract people who feel the same.
Be bold. Or be ignored.
One of my personal commitments is that as long I am alive, I will exist in a constant admiration for myself, of who I am and how God made me no matter what changes or what needs to change. Here, there is no room for self-contempt of any kind โค๏ธ
