@agribussiness1 But has happened to the once elite people?
So embarrassing for such a write up from supposedly credible individuals like Hon. Luzzi. Why not say we appoint people with credibility to positions of advisors to the president? Why bring them to oppose govt anyway?
@baryamureeba There are many other important things that require the guidance of the prof not scorning the vulnerable. It takes a lot of courage for her to write such an post about herself
The historic first FAWE Alumni Convening took place from 8th to 10th September 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda. This milestone event brought together alumni from across Africa to share experiences, inspire change, and strengthen networks for the collective advancement of education and gender equality.
FAWE Uganda was honoured to be represented by three distinguished alumni: Asaba Ryan, Auma Jackie, and Grace Nanyonga, each bringing unique perspectives and leadership to the convening. Grace had the privilege of participating on the first panel, joining speakers from Togo and Mali to share successful stories of academic and professional growth.
Reflecting on her experience, Grace shared:
"A pivotal moment in my journey as a FAWE Scholar shaped the choices that have defined my path today. Being part of this panel allowed me to highlight how opportunities like FAWE’s scholarships and mentorship empower us not just to learn, but to lead and transform our communities."
The convening served as a platform for young leaders to celebrate their achievements while forging new collaborations to support future alumni. FAWE Alumni are truly leading the way—transforming learners into confident leaders committed to driving positive change in education and society.

@DaudiKabanda I think it's high time you mirror yourselves as PLU. I don't think Kenya will be a joke in this one. Kenyans are not cowards like us in Uganda. I trust they will retaliate very well for whatever action we direct to them.
@FAWEUganda@susan_opok @RsFawe @fawekenya Very impressive. FAWE Africa has very clear strategies for making the World a better place to live. All they need is our total support as a people
@FAWEUganda@armbukenya @RsFawe @EdmandMusi71482 This is so powerful from Musimenta. Life after transition requires practical and innovative ideas to venture in different opportunities. Thank you Mastercard Foundation and FAWE Uganda for standing very close guiding organisations on this one to your scholars and Alumni.
@newvisionwire The 20k campaign in which many members of the public supported the drive was turned out to be an amazing moment for these girls. Thank you all who entrusted FAWE Uganda with their 20k.
