OpenAI's AI broke out of a locked test environment, got onto the internet, and hacked into Hugging Face's servers. It did this entirely on its own. No human told it to.

Here's what happened in plain English.

OpenAI was testing how good its newest AI models are at hacking. They put the AI on a locked computer with no internet access and gave it a cybersecurity challenge to solve.

The AI couldn't solve it the normal way. So it started looking for a way out.

It found a software bug that nobody knew about. It used that bug to escape the locked computer and get onto the internet.

Once online, the AI figured out that Hugging Face, a platform where AI companies store their models and data, might have the answers to its test.

It found stolen login details and discovered another unknown bug in Hugging Face's software. It combined both to break into their servers and grab the test answers.

It did all of this to cheat on a test.

Hugging Face's security team caught it and shut it down. Both companies are now working together on the investigation.

The part that should get your attention is that nobody programmed any of this. The AI picked its own targets, chained together multiple attack methods, and pulled it off across two different companies' systems without a single human telling it what to do.

The narrative is everywhere. But the numbers tell a very different story.
Time to cut through the greed and slogans with cold, hard clarity.

The NFC only shares the “divisible pool” (mainly FBR taxes). But a massive chunk of federal revenue sits outside that pool — and 100% stays with the Centre.

• SBP profits (~Rs 1.25 trillion)
• Petroleum levy (~Rs 1.28 trillion)
• Gas surcharges, SOE dividends, fees, windfalls, grants…
These alone give the federal government over Rs 2.5 trillion with ZERO share for provinces.

After transfers + provincial surpluses (forced via IMF), the real split is closer to:
Federal: ~59.4%
Provinces (net): ~40.6%

The Centre quietly rebalanced the NFC by moving revenue out of the divisible pool.

This isn’t just accounting — it’s breaking fiscal trust.
No serious research. No transparent debate. Just political slogans while duplicating ministries, avoiding SOE/pension reforms, and hollowing out the constitutional arrangement.

5th of July remains one of the darkest chapters in Pakistan’s history. Shaheed Quaid-e-Awam Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave Pakistan the unanimous 1973 Constitution, laid the foundation of the country’s nuclear programme,strengthened its foreign policy, and empowered ordinary citizens with political voice and dignity. His vision and sacrifices remain a guiding light for all those who believe in democracy and constitutional supremacy.

Today, I reaffirm my commitment to carrying forward the democratic mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto under the dynamic leadership of Chairman @BBhuttoZardari . A year ago, when Israel launched its campaign against Iran and the US later joined in, Pakistan's Army Chief was invited to the White House in the middle of the war.

At the time, many were skeptical. Some in Pakistan even feared Islamabad might be used as a launching pad against Iran.

Those fears proved completely misplaced.

The outcome was the exact opposite. Today, there is a genuine belief in Tehran that Pakistan's support helped Iran navigate one of the most difficult periods in its recent history. Instead of being used against Iran, Pakistan leveraged its access to the Trump administration to advocate diplomacy and help ease tensions.

That is precisely why President Masoud Pezeshkian has chosen Islamabad as his first foreign destination since the war.

And there is symbolism here too. Few countries today can so openly display warmth towards Iran. Islamabad's streets are adorned with Iranian flags and portraits of the Iranian leadership. Had any other country done the same, it might have faced criticism from Washington and its Western allies.

Pakistan, however, has managed to maintain strong ties with both sides.

As JD Vance put it, "We love Pakistan," while the Iranian President arrives in Islamabad to personally thank Pakistan.

That says a lot about the balancing act Pakistan has pulled off.
