That’s a wrap for UEX GAT 💗

We made it to the Quarter Finals! 🥹 Honestly, I really wanted us to go further, but I’m still happy and proud of what Team @ascentacademy17 was able to do.

Competing in an international tournament like this was such a crazy experience for me. The pressure, the nerves, the random moments of panic while watching the chart 😂, and of course, the good trades, I’ll definitely remember all of it.

I’m just really grateful that I got the chance to be here, compete with traders from different countries, and experience something I never thought I’d get to do.

Big thank you to everyone who supported me and Team Ascent throughout the tournament. Every message, cheer, and “good luck” honestly meant a lot. 🥹🫶🏻

And to my Team Ascent, thank you for the laughs, the teamwork, and for surviving all the stressful moments together. 😂 We didn’t get the finish we wanted this time, but we learned a lot and definitely had fun along the way.

I came here to compete, learn, and prove to myself that I can do this too. And I’m leaving with so much more confidence than when I started. 💗

This is just one tournament. We’ll keep trading, keep learning, and come back better.

Next tournament, we’ll see you guys again. Promise. 🤞🏻

I was an English teacher back in 2018. I remember hearing about Bitcoin, but I shrugged it off.

“Scam,” I told myself. 😂

So I continued teaching despite the low salary, because apparently, struggling financially builds character. Haha!

Then Axie Infinity became popular. I saw people playing a game while somehow making money from it, and I thought, “How is that even possible?”

So I tried it myself.

I only had one team, and proudly "Jumping Lason". 😂 It was a simple start, but it sparked my curiosity about crypto and digital assets.

Ironically, I used to hate trading.

I knew almost nothing about it and thought the whole thing was a scam. I was especially skeptical because the space seemed so dominated by men.

Then I started seeing women step forward.

Fast forward, when I became a Bitget Builder (October 2025) I saw @GracyBitget , CEO of Bitget, and it made me wonder: If she can rise in this space, maybe I can too.

I wasn’t a trader. I hated numbers, didn’t understand charts, and I even had someone trade for me at one point.

But curiosity won.

I started learning about the stock market, bought my first book on trading U.S. stocks, and eventually made my first-ever trade on Bitget $rSPCX.

That changed something in me.

I went from watching other people trade to finally stepping into the space myself.

Along the way, I co-founded Ascent Academy, with the aim to help others learn and grow. We even joined the UEX Alpha Global Tournament, turning my personal curiosity into a community experience.

Of course, I’ve made mistakes. I’ve lost money from bad setups and poor decisions.

I call those losses my tuition fees. 😂

My first rToken purchase was SpaceX. If you know the story, Elon Musk expected it to fail. It reminded me that things can look impossible at the beginning and completely different years later.

I’m still learning. I’m still making mistakes. But I’m no longer standing outside the space judging it.

I’m in it.

From an English teacher who thought Bitcoin was a scam, to an Axie player with a team called Jumping Lason, to making my first trade, building a community, and learning alongside others. I never expected the journey to lead me here.

I started as a skeptic. Now others are skeptic of me too. (the tables has turned, right? 🫢)

Today, I’m still a student, learning trading.

And maybe that’s the best part.

And who knows?

Maybe one day, another woman will see me learning, trying, and figuring things out, and think:

“If she can do it, maybe I can too.”

And if that happens, then maybe this journey was never just about learning how to trade.

Maybe it was also about showing someone else that they belong here, too.
