ASD Base students were super excited to see their car arrive yesterday😁 Thank you to Governor Mark Poulton who supported us with Cwmbran Trust. Special mention to Deacon Walker who successfully presented to the board of trustees to secure the funding.

Students have been accessing the curriculum this term through the topic under the sea.
They visited Bristol Aquarium where they experienced a wide range of sea life and fed the fish!
The students were incredibly engaged and communicated their interest in the sea 🌊 #notinmissout

We had an outstanding morning celebrating deaf awareness at CHS. We invited parents in to a coffee morning while they were entertained by the deaf choir. The deaf choir are preparing to perform at Pride Cardiff on 23rd June🙌

Jack and James run a Lunch Club every Thursday, they take orders from staff, shop for what’s needed and make the meals.

Through doing this they are budgeting and developing communication skills!

Amazing start to Autism Acceptance week!
Students from the ASD Base took part in inclusion sessions, thank you to Mrs Rennocks from Drama and Mrs Hobbs from PE.
