@AseelHaidar1 Congratulations! On behalf of everyone on the Provider Services team at UPH, we're wishing you the best as you begin the next chapter of your career. Thank you for the way you're making a difference in our world!
Just registered for @medgradwishlist! Incredibly grateful for this initiative and for everyone who has supported a medical students transition to residency in any possible way. Excited for the months to come #Match2023#FMRevolution

For one lucky participant, I will personally purchase at least $250 off of their #medgradwishlist.
@medgradwishlist is an amazing group of people who are ensuring the next generation of minority physicians are taken care of prior to starting residency.
Not everyone will respond to lifestyle-only for weight loss...
But some will!
Not everyone will respond to lifestyle + medicine for weight loss...
But many will!
Lifestyle and medicine and surgery are all tools.
Not mutually exclusive.
When individuals and their PCPs need guidance, @umichmedicine's Weight Navigation Program can help from within a patient's medical home. Drs. Amal Othman, Jonathan Gabison, & @l_oshman are the family physician champions of this program.

All the feels after matching at my home institution and dream program. So excited to train as a primary care physician! @umfamilymed#GoBlueMatch#Match2023
If you survey medical students right after Match Day, the happiest and most satisfied ones are those who matched higher on their rank order list.
But ask them again 3 months into intern year, and everyone is indistinguishable.

Couldn’t have survived these 4 years without the best Bff a girl could ask for. (PS she matched at UMich and is about to be the best Fam Med doc you’ve ever seen) I love you @AseelHaidar1 ❤️
Ekene, Kenny, my friend since 18 years old was applying into residency this year. Two weeks before rank list submission he suffered a stroke that paralyzed his left side. This fund is to assist he and his family with the necessary costs.
Please share.

In honor of Match Day approaching, I thought I would make a small thread of tips for being a good intern. I’m no expert — just an intern who has hopefully learned a thing or two over the last 8 months. I've never done a thread before, so I'm not even sure I'm doing this right.
