“Wise men speak when they have something to say; fools speak when they want to say something,” Aristotle. I don’t suffer fools & draw the line at name-calling.
@JeanJean20929@eNCA Notwithstanding what Cabinet is claimed to have said, their decision is unfair and unjust on many fronts - the most critical of which inadvertently condoned non-payment, and punishes those who paid.
@thenightlyau Well, let them. In time, they will learn that even 1Nation has to address the same economic factors. Doing it another way requires brain power.
@News24 Using phrases from the RSA Constitution’s preamble: making literal interpretations of them reveals an absence of insight about their origin & purpose. Their foundations lie in South African citizens suffering being disenfranchised in the own country. It’s not anything else. 😡
@thenightlyau I agree. It’s absurd to talk about capital gains in a market where the real value of any real estate is declining. The premium added to real estate is remote from the cost of bricks, mortar & fitments.
@thenightlyau Artificially inflated prices based on sentiment rather than real value is the root cause. The value of anything today is far from actual cost+margin.
@ConversationEDU@ihsanylmz@Deakin During these modern times, a sound formative education will go a long way to ensure discerning minds make appropriate decision about what floods their smart phones. As a baby boomer, I’m on top of all the nonsense coming my way.
@SBSNews The high cost of labour in the USA drives higher prices. Citizens buy from where prices are affordable & where value-for-money makes sense to them. No amount of huffing & puffing is going to change this. Not even calling for patriotism.
@SBSNews Trump is making excuses to retain exercising power over the world. Characteristics of a bully. He won’t prevail. He’s hurting his own country. He’s already disliked. Many countries have moved on.
