21-year-old activist injured by ICE:
I will be blind for life. I have fractures in my skull that they can't fix. I can't sneeze or cough because it's dangerous to. They pulled a piece of plastic the size of a nickel out of my eye. I had shards of metal, glass, and plastic behind my eye and in my skull. They said it was a miracle I survived.
Meta is a disgrace, how can you own two game studios, have them create some of the most popular standalone VR games in the last few years, and then fuck them over with no remorse
So many talented people out of work

San Diego Comic-Con will no longer allow AI 'art' to be displayed at their event
"Material created by AI either partially or wholly, is not allowed in the art show"
This follows backlash from artists after SDCC initially indicated AI-generated work would be permitted
Personally not worried about Man of Tomorrow being overcrowded or Superman and Lex not having the spotlight. Gunn has never really been a cameo writer and it was shown in Superman how he’s able to organically implement other super powered characters without taking the focus away from the central characters of Supes and Lois. It all revolved around them.
The Justice Gang are Clark’s super friends (possibly his only friends), Metamorpho was his cellmate, Ultraman and Engineer were Lex’s hired metahuman muscle, and Supergirl is his cousin who shows up at the end of the movie to pick up the family dog; Krypto. It’s truly not that complicated when you stop viewing these characters as big superhero figures or IPs and more like side characters designed to advance the plot and either compliment or contrast with the lead characters. Like any other movie.
