@jules4u11 @johnmvaughan @basilthegreat Nothing to do with the U.K. falling - if you enter a property without causing damage, committing theft or delivering assault of any kind and leave without any of the above. Then the matter is trespassing which is a civil matter. That’s always been law.

@Crypto_China @basilthegreat @Keir_Starmer @MayorofLondon You don’t have to like it but they have to follow the law. For burglary there has to be either an assault, theft or damage. If there is none then it is trespass which is a civil matter and all the police can do is remove the person.
The officer isn’t wrong.

@leeharris I don’t disagree with you but to be fair to the officers, she is in breach of the public order offence whether we like it or not. Look up section 5 public order act definition. So whilst I don’t like it, the officers aren’t wrong either.
