Too slow! Sara Duterte calls out Marcos over corruption scandal: Why wait for a commission?
Vice President Sara Duterte has slammed President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for his alleged slow action to clamp down on corruption in government in the wake of the flood control anomalies.
Duterte said the President should have taken swift action when he saw the national budget was being manipulated by erring allies. He didn’t need to wait for a commission to probe such anomalies, she said in a media interview in Congress on Tuesday, Sept 16.
