Playing through DS2 for the first time and there’s no meme. That’s just what it is.
Some truly incalculably insane placements and design. Just when you think you’re at your limit something new tests you.
It’s so gooood but you gotta be soooo patient
@metalblade616@CactusFuturist The final levels of Halo are unquestionably better than the Xen levels of HL1. The first 3/4 are much closer in quality.
But … Xen is brutal
Can’t completely disagree.
I just wish more people saw later Rebels.
There’s some inspired stuff and some of the best Star Wars period is in S4 E10 & 11.
Don’t know how Filoni got so far away from what he was doing then.
One of the best things I can say about Spider-Noir in comparison to recent superhero fare, it actually *feels* like a comic book brought to life.
Some shots etc give 2003 Hulk and help’s with that vibe.
Really fantastic show with great performances all around.
Charles McAdoo is apparently a huge Star Wars fan. When he joined the Blue Jays and had to sign his contract, John Schneider handed him a pen. McAdoo declined it and pulled out a Lightsaber pen.
His first MLB homer yesterday came on Star Wars night at Camden Yards.
@FourGuardWas@ReallyIrishName@NebsGoodTakes Like I’m not kidding when I say.
They were using their phones, taking pics with flash, throwing popcorn and just being intentionally loud & obnoxious.
One of the most insane theatre experiences of my life I actually couldn’t believe it and I see lots of movies
@FourGuardWas@ReallyIrishName@NebsGoodTakes Sometimes the hubris of the annoyer is unfathomable. I’ll never forget seeing The Batman and 3 people (me being one) told this obnoxious group of teens to pipe down their bs.
They didn’t stop.
So I left and told theatre staff, first and last time Ive ever had too lol
Marcia Lucas has sadly passed away at the age of 80.
She won an Oscar for editing the original STAR WARS film, where she was described as the “heart” of the film who brought the magic alive.
I would like to use this opportunity to remind people what he originally titled Star Wars
“Adventures of Luke Starkiller as taken from the Journal of the Whills, Saga 1: The Star Wars”
The man was always insane (complimentary)
Part of what made the original movies work that somehow got distilled to basically unpalatable levels in the prequels is that George Lucas is high key insane
I know we all treat him like a creative god on here because he made the cool space franchise, but it is genuinely so cool and inspiring that in his retirement he made a museum love letter to storytelling. Like thank you, George. That's genuinely so important right now.
Choosing to use this same logic for the Leafs ala 2025 into 2026.
Without losing Marner + keep Berube. This team doesn’t fall off a cliff, get first 1OA pick, fire Treliving and shift to a forward thinking team.
Despite what people think, the Leafs WILL be in the playoffs next yr
Great article. It sounds insane but the Toronto Blue Jays needed that 2024 season to have sustained success in following years. The depth this team currently has speaks volumes on the deadline Ross the boss had that season.
something about this guy delivering the order and not giving a shit about the artificial sun rising and falling behind him just feels profound and kind of sad
@cylixil I feel you. If it wasn’t for my people, I probably wouldn’t be here either.
Dealt with so many life/death medical stuff that will be with me till I die and I sometimes feel like I only pushed through and stick around for everyone else. If there was no one, I wouldn’t have.
