Seeing a widow sitting alone at their late husband’s funeral is heartbreaking.
Yes, it is important to follow the current rules and regulations, but there should be exceptions. This would not have happened at any funeral not televised. It does not feel right.

25 years old and I’ve never experienced being sexually harassed or assaulted in my life. Now ask that to any 25 year old girl and I guarantee 99% will have experienced harassment. That’s the problem. Im seeing men trying to make this situation about them, it’s not the time.

People need to be aware that schools are NOT closed. Teachers will still be in supporting key worker and vulnerable children whilst teaching remotely every day via video calls. This isn’t a chance for teachers to have time off, it’s just an opportunity to teach but in a safer way
This equally applies to the children who are expected to attend school. They are then told that despite mixing with people every day (that they have no choice over), they can’t do their usual Christmas traditions with their families...that’s impossible for children to comprehend

I completely appreciate keeping people safe, but when I’m expected to go to work each day and teach a class of children, why am I then not allowed to see my family? Surely mental health and well-being is equally paramount in keeping people safe
