@dirtdauber I saved 90% of personal belongings, but not furniture/lawncare. Definitely thousands of dollars lost, and no contents coverage

It's been a nonstop 5 days of hard labor to gut the house and remove our belongings. Now I'm just sad :-/

Finished opening and spraying the house. Insurance guy came, we should get plenty to fix the house. Next is FEMA for personal belongings.

We got 2ft of water, so almost everything is safe besides the furniture, lawn equpiment, makeup, kitchen appliances, and other small items.

Aaaand I just found out I have minimum flood insurance coverage with no personal property coverage. This just gets worse.

My house is flooded. I got out early with Charlie Bela and Jon. Staying at a cousin's house. Probably going to lose a lot of stuff :-/

My neighborhood is flooding. Moving everything off the ground. Hoping for the best. The sewer drain is backing up right in front of my house

Long time no tweet. Crazy flooding here in Louisiana, but my house remains dry. We have a friend whose entire house is underwater though :-/
