VESRA, THE UNFINISHED RITE

She went down into the dungeon for the rite that ends the Fire-Curse. She found it carved on a stone the Shift cannot move, and she started it. The rite does not heal what you are. It takes it out of you and leaves nothing in its place. She stopped at her own name.

What is left of her walks in wearing a traveller's cloak, and she still passes for a woman right up until she says that name out loud.

She stays at the rift because the Shift cannot reach underground. Up there, every night would take a little more of what the rite left her. Down here she still remembers one name, and she kills whatever comes through the door before it can finish what she started.

This person has been saving NFT assets for 24 hours straight, without sleep. Due to an exploit in the Payment Processor contract (Limit Break), affecting Magic Eden and ApeChain, 23,155 wallets were at risk of losing NFTs worth $6M! It's great that there are people like this out there.

Can I play with it?
Can it evolve?
Can it enter different games?
Can people build around it?
Can it participate in an economy?

That's the thinking behind Heroes of Valdir.

From collectible → functional digital asset.

That's a much more interesting future for NFTs.

This Ape has and will ALWAYS be to me the prize of my entire collection and maybe the most loved thing I own bar none. It was my first big purchase years back and means S0 much to me. 🍊 has always been my fav color and the prison jump suit was a reminder of when I was locked up by the Feds years ago. Today I’m giving it as a gift to @0xquit for basically saving the space for all of us last night. I was lucky to not get drained but many of my friends did. His selflessness and generosity is what I inspire to be. When I get home from work will transfer my orange 🧡 to him. It’s definetly going to the absolute best of humans …. I know my ape will now be in the home where he belongs 🙏
